Butterflies & Blooms Luncheon to Benefit Saving Grace

We are big fans of what the amazing women of Saving Grace do on a daily basis for young women in Northwest Arkansas. They provide a safe home for young women, ages 17 to 25, who have aged out of the foster care system and need the guidance and emotional support all young women should have as they begin their adult lives. (Remember how much you needed your own mom and dad at that age?)

saving-grace1Becky Shaffer founded Saving Grace in 2009, the year after we launched nwaMotherlode.com, and we had the opportunity to get to know her and watch the incredible progress she has made with Saving Grace over the past several years. Becky is one of those women you instantly love and feel inspired by. Read more about her story by clicking here.

You can meet Becky and the entire team behindĀ  Saving Grace by coming to their annual luncheon, Butterflies & Blooms, on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the John Q. Hammonds Convention Center. There is no cost to attend, although there will be an opportunity to give to the non-profit, if you so choose.

Gwen Rockwood and Shannon Magsam, co-founders of nwaMotherlode.com, will be attending the luncheon surrounded by a table full of nwaMotherlode friends. And Gwen is honored to be serving as emcee for this year’s event. We’d love for you to join us.
