October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and in support of that many brands have introduced limited edition products to support research efforts for finding a cure and to help raise awareness. Bonus for us: we get to help a great cause and score some hot new beauty finds! And everyone deserves a little treat after that awkward annual exam or dreaded mammogram. Here are some of my favorites.
Elf nail polish in Bubble Gum Pink ($1, eyeslipsface.com) 100% of the proceeds from this sweet shade of pink goes to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Bobbi Brown Pink Ribbon Collection Glitter lip balm and Creamy lip color ($40/set, bobbibrown.com) Use a little shimmer to brighten up the dull fall days we’ve been having. $35,000 from the sales of this lip set will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Elizabeth Hurley lip set, Estee Lauder ($22, esteelauder.com) If sparkle isn’t your thing, try this lip trio from Estee Lauder that comes in a cute pink case. $500,000 of North American sales benefits the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Clinique Lip Gloss key chain ($19, Sephora.com) With $10 of each sale pledged to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, this portable gloss set would make a great stocking stuffer, if you can resist using it yourself.
Nylon Makeup Case, Sonia Kashuk ($5.99, Target) Need something pink for storing your new gloss? 100% of the profits form this bag will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
DREAM WEAVER FootWorks Breast Cancer Crusade Overnight Treatment and Crusade Socks, Avon ($7.50, avon.com) Get your tired feet back in shape after Race for the Cure or just let the socks work their magic as you Sleep in for the Cure. More than 60% of net proceeds go toward The Avon Foundation’s Avon Breast Cancer Crusade.
Melamine floral nesting bowls, Zak ($32/4, spoonsisters.com) Okay, I know these bowls are not beauty products but I thought they were so cute I couldn’t resist sharing. 10% of sales benefit the Continuum Cancer Centers of New York.
Putting on your new gloss or touching up your toes can be a pleasant reminder of the all-important self-check. If you need a reminder on the best technique click HERE.
