What’s your favorite drugstore make-up product? What’s your favorite “splurge” item?
Dear Curious,
This is a tough one because I love lots of drugstore products. If I had to pick just one, it would have to be L’Oreal’s Visible Lift Line Minimizing & Tone Enhancing Under Eye Concealer SPF 20. I’ve tried just about every type of concealer available – from $4 Jane to $68 Cle de Peu, and I swear this little gem is as good as it gets. The consistency is creamy enough to allow for easy blending, but somehow it doesn’t crease under the eyes (provided you “set” it with a dab of translucent powder). It’s hard to believe such a quality product costs less than $10.
My favorite “splurge” item would have to be my new, can’t-live-without-it, lash-growing miracle: MD Lash Factor. It’s $140, but the thick, dark, almost fake-looking lashes that result from using this faithfully are worth every penny for me. I will gladly skimp on other beauty products to keep this one in my makeup bag.
