Remember that book Go Ask Alice? Well, when I saw an e-mail from Daily Candy with that title, I just had to click over. The new Alice isn’t a troubled, drug-addicted, possibly anonymous, girl (like the one in the book). Nope, Alice.com is a website that wants to make sure you never run out of tampons or toilet paper again.
They deliver, on a schedule, the things you use most, including garbage bags, laundry detergent, shaving cream, diapers and cough syrup. Manufacturers sell directly to you, which cuts cost.
We haven’t used it yet — so we can’t give you any tried/true reviews, but it’s definitely compelling. Free shipping and automatic coupons are encouraging us to sign up for a free account!
I haved used Alice.com three times already and I love it. Some of the prices are a little higher than Wal-Mart/Target, but frequently there are automatic coupons applied which brings the cost down. Also they sell some of my favorite items that are no longer carried at Wal-Mart. There are no added shipping charges, and I love the convenience of not having to make ANOTHER trip to the store for something I have forgotten.
