Most of us who have dogs or grew up with dogs know that, now and then, they’ll start eating grass. Studies show that it’s VERY common, but there are different theories for why they do it. The good news is that researchers have found that dogs eating grass is NOT always a sign that they’re trying to throw up.
But there are good reasons to interrupt a dog who’s trying to eat grass, mainly because so many grasses are treated with pesticides. Also, they can get exposed to certain infections from parasites in the dirt.
