How to register: Trike Theatre’s summer camps

Camp dates, times and ages:

  • Performance Camp: Land of Oz (8-12 years old) June 5-9 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    • Your young actor helps adapt, then rehearse this beloved classic into a performance for families on Friday, June 9, 2023. No audition needed.
  • Marvels: Superhero School (4-7 years old) June 12-16 from 9 a.m. to noon.
    • Through movement and play, from games to crafts, students explore character, learning to use their “instrument,” aka body. Families are super welcome on Friday, June 16th. No auditions needed.

    • Through movement and play, from games to crafts, students explore character, learning to use their “instrument,” aka body. Families are super welcome on Friday, June 16th. No auditions needed.
  • Musical Theatre Camp: The Addams Family (8-18 years old) June 19 – July 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    • This spooky myoosical happening at Trike Theatre and at Thaden School features 5 live shows on July 7th, 8th, and 9th at Thaden. Students must audition on April 15th and then attend all 3 weeks of camp. (The first two weeks happen at Trike.)
  • Musical Theatre: Showstoppers (8-18 years old) June 26-30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    • Singing, dancing and acting, our students work on songs from musicals like The Greatest Showman, Disney’s Descendants and High School Musical. No experience necessary.
  • Musical Theatre: Encanto (4-7 years old) July 10-14 from 9 a.m. to noon
    • With music from Disney’s Encanto, students learn to use their “instrument” (body), singing, dancing, acting and telling stories. Join the family show and share on Friday, July 14th. No auditions needed.
  • Musical Theatre: Encanto (4-7 years old) July 10-14 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
    • With music from Disney’s Encanto, students learn to use their “instrument” (body), singing, dancing, acting and telling stories. Join the family show and share on Friday, July 14th. No auditions needed.
  • Musical Theatre: Broadway’s Best (8-18 years old) July 17-21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    • Singing, dancing and acting each day, students work on songs from different Broadway masterpieces (each is a surprise) like Hamilton, Matilda, Wicked, etc. No auditions needed.
  • She Kills Monsters (12-18 years old) July 24 – August 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    • No monsters will be harmed (and no auditions needed) to embrace your inner geek in this romp about role-playing games. Families are invited to the big performance on August 4th.
  • Trike School of the Magical Arts (8-12 years old) July 24-28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    • Grab your hat and broom as we team-build with games and crafts in sorted Houses. Students make wands, learn spells, potions and more! Who will win the most points for the House Cup? This camp will be held at Central United Methodist Church.
