We’re proud to be a media sponsor for the Apple Seeds’ Picnic on the Farm event happening June 3rd at Gulley Park. And today we’re giving away a family 4-pack to the event, which includes free admission fees as well as delicious picnic food (a free entree, drink & dessert) for each person.
This is the third annual Picnic on the Farm at the Apple Seeds Teaching Farm at Gulley Park in Fayetteville. It will benefit Apple Seeds’ programs on their Teaching Farm and in Northwest Arkansas schools.
Picnic provisions will be provided by The Green Goat, Tyler’s Craft BBQ, Pedal Pops, Ozark Natural Foods and Ozark Beer Company. (Just FYI, if you don’t win, but want to attend, you’re welcome to bring your own picnic — or order food at the event.)
ABOUT THE PICNIC: There will be fun farm games & activities for kids of all ages, including zorbing, an obstacle course, a garden scavenger hunt & healthy smoothie making, floral crowns, craft making and the much-anticipated Plants vs Zombies. And this is cool: you’ll be entertained by JD Clayton & Block St. Hot Club during the picnic.
If your family likes to ride bikes, you can join the group family ride with Phat Tire Bike Shop. Meet up at 3 p.m. at the Phat Tire Fayetteville store and ride together to the picnic, which starts at 4 p.m.
There will also be family fun silent auction items, including experiences & fun items from ModernMission.com – Tactical Laser Tag – Indoor & Outdoor, Pack Rat Outdoor Center, Kings River Outfitters, Kayak Branson, Uncle Sam’s Safari Outfitters, Lokomotion Family Fun Park, Ozark Escape & Arkansas Helicopters – Sightseeing Tours and Flight Training.
Admission is only $5 per adult. Children under 12 are free.
