christy5mins156.jpgName: Christy Walker

Children: Adeline, 6, and Caroline, almost 2

Where were you raised? Coweta, OK

How long have you lived in NWA? 4 1/2 months

What is your favorite thing about Fall? Taking the girls to the Pumpkin Patch.

What was the most creative Halloween costume you ever wore? A domino

How long have you been married? 14 years.

What was your first impression of your husband? He was the cute, smart and funny best friend of the guy who was trying to date me in high school.

What’s something you never would have believed about being a mom? How mentally exhausting it is. There are times when you feel like you are doing everything wrong.

What’s your best recipe for relaxing? Working cryptoquotes and watching Dancing with the Stars after the kids go to bed.

Name three things you always have with you: My iphone, Benadryl and an Epi-Pen (Caroline has food allergies).

Your favorite restaurant in NWA? Penguin Ed’s West because they have a “toy corner” to keep the kids happy and occupied. The food is good, too!

Do you have any phobias? Let’s see, heights, snakes, spiders, storms. There are too many to list. My husband and Adeline think I worry too much.

The last “alone time” outing you had: My husband and I enjoyed some much needed time alone at “Chefs in the Garden” at the Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks last week.

What is stressing you out the most right now? Keeping the house de-cluttered.

The best thing about having children: Their unconditional love.

Your favorite memory (so far) of each daughter: Adeline – She was in the “Little Miss Fall Festival” pageant last year in our hometown. Most of the contestants sang or danced with fancy background music. We were afraid she would get stage fright, but she marched right up and belted out “God Bless America” a capella and won 1st runner up. Caroline – Learning to sing “Old McDonald”, E-I-E-I-Woe.

One word to sum me up: Content
