2018 Fireworks + Events Guide: July 4th Fun in Northwest Arkansas

There’s no shortage of things to do in Northwest Arkansas to celebrate the July 4th holiday!

FYI, mamas, the Naturals will be playing home games leading up to the 4th at the Field event that will feature three additional fireworks shows the kids are sure to love:

  • Friday, June 29 – Superhero Night on a Fireworks Friday featuring a Kids Cape Giveaway by Arkansas Children’s Northwest (7:05pm game)
  • Monday, July 2 – Post-Game Fireworks by Ozarks Electric (6:35pm game)
  • Tuesday, July 3 – Independence Eve Fireworks Spectacular (6:35pm game)

Sunday, June 24:

Pea Ridge Freedom Fest

This event is free and will include food, watermelon, snow cones and cotton candy. Face painting, balloons and inflatables. Fireworks at dark.

Tuesday, June 26:

Red, White and Blooms Concert, BGO

The Arkansas Winds Community Concert Band Arkansas Winds Community Concert Band will entertain guests with the “Red, White & Blooms” patriotic performance on the Great Lawn of the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks. This kicks off the FREE summer concert series at BGO. Wear your patriotic gear as we celebrate America and pay tribute to our military families. All concerts are family friendly and FREE to the public. Lawn chairs and picnics are welcome.

Friday, June 29th

Superhero Night on a Fireworks Friday

The Northwest Arkansas Naturals will be featuring a Kids Cape Giveaway by Arkansas Children’s Northwest and post-game fireworks.

City of Elkins Fireworks

The annual City of Elkins Fireworks show at Bunch park June 29th at dark. The concession stand will be open.

Saturday, June 30:

Rodeo of the Ozarks Parade and Fireworks

Join us to observe a patriotic display of cowgirls, floats, bands, entertainment and candy for the kiddos at our Rodeo kick off parade. Beginning at 3:00 pm at the rodeo grounds and proceeding west through downtown Springdale. Please see the parade page for more information. Our fireworks display will be following Saturday night’s Rodeo Performance.

Eureka Springs 4th of July Happy Birthday Stroll

Location: Starting at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, downtown Eureka Springs

Celebrate Prairie Grove

The 6th annual, “Celebrate Prairie Grove”, will be held Saturday June 30th, at Rieff Park. The City Aquatic Park will be open free to the public from 7:00 to 9:00 and the Jr. Civic League will offer food and drink concession just outside the Pool area. There will be fun for the kids in Rieff Park, with a bouncy house, slip and slide, and an obstacle course. At dark, around 9:15-9:20 the evening will conclude with a fantastic fireworks display to the south of the park.

City of Farmington Fireworks

Location: Many watch the fireworks from the Farmington High School football field, which is near the corner of Double Springs Road and Rheas Mill Road. The address of the football stadium is 42 South Double Springs Road.

Independence Day Fireworks Display & Blues Festival, Bella Vista

Mark your calendars for the city’s annual fireworks display off Loch Lomond dam. This year’s show is going to be better than ever. Parking is available below the dam. Come early for the Bella Vista Independence Blues Festival, featuring free live blues music from The Cate Brothers and The Downtown Livewires. Bring blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy some fun before the fireworks.

Wednesday, July 4

4th at the Field with NWA Naturals

Following the 6:30 p.m. baseball game, fans will be treated to the best in sight and sound at the 4th at the Field Fireworks Spectacular, the largest Fireworks Spectacular in Northwest Arkansas.

Seating for 4th at the Field is all General Admission so the seating bowl will be available to fans on a first come, first serve basis. Adult tickets will be $12 while tickets for children 12 and under are $10.

Gates will open to the public at 5 p.m. for a Fourth of July version of the Bullpen Craft Beer Bar Happy Hour from 5-6 p.m. and the Naturals encourage fans to arrive early to guarantee the best available seats. The concessions stands will be open throughout the night and lawn chairs and blankets are welcome; however, fans who sit in the grass berm will be asked to move to the concourse prior to the start of the fireworks show. In addition to individual tickets, fans can rent out individual suites and group areas for 4th at the Field.

Ventris Trail’s End Resort Fireworks Show

The fireworks are choreographed to music and the show is best seen by boat as it’s projected toward the lake for an incredible effect caused by the reflection from the water. The location is just South of marker “8″ on Beaver Lake, just look for the banners. The display is their way of saying “thank you” to our troops, those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, the community, and all the volunteers that helped to put on the show.

Eureka Springs 4th of July Parade

4th of July Spectacular, Walmart AMP

The Walmart AMP July 4th Fireworks Spectacular starts with a FREE family festival at 5pm, sponsored by the City of Rogers. Join us for games, food and family fun! Then, come celebrate America’s 243rd birthday with a patriotic concert by the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas (SoNA) and an exciting fireworks display by the City of Rogers. Gates open at 6pm, the concert begins at 7:30pm and fireworks begin at 9:15pm. Lawn tickets are just $3 if you purchase them in advance! This is the perfect Independence Day outing for families.

Fireworks at Mount Comfort

Mount Comfort Church of Christ will host a fireworks show on July 4th. Drinks, desserts, and snacks at 8:30 PM, and fireworks start at dark.

Independence Day Celebration in the Park

Sponsored by Mercy & Grace Cathedral in Springdale, this event will be held at the main Pavilion at Tyson Park. Hamburgers, hotdogs, watermelons, fun and games, bring a lawn chair and enjoy these festivities. They will begin serving food around 5:30.
