There’s no shortage of things to do in Northwest Arkansas to celebrate the July 4th holiday!
Below is the big list of where to watch fireworks plus other fun Independence Day-related things to do in NWA.

NOTE: If you’re also planning a fireworks show at home, you can get a discount on fireworks at the Pinnacle Fireworks tent (located near the intersection of Interstate 49 and Don Tyson Parkway, close to the Walmart Neighborhood Market.) The tent opens on June 28th. Just ask for the “Motherlode Mama” discount when you check out. Saturday, June 24th:
Rodeo of the Ozarks Fireworks
Fireworks happen on the last day of the Rodeo of the Ozarks (the rodeo runs June 21-24). On the 24th, a parade kicks things off at 3 p.m. It starts at Parsons Stadium and runs downtown Springdale. At 6 p.m., rodeo gates open and pre-rodeo events begin. The Rodeo of the Ozarks begins at 7:30 p.m. Crowning of the 2017 Miss Rodeo of the Ozarks and fireworks will follow after the rodeo.

Tuesday, June 27:
Red, White and Blooms Concert, BGO
The Arkansas Winds Community Concert Band will entertain guests with the “Red, White & Blooms” patriotic performance on the Great Lawn of the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks. This kicks off the FREE summer concert series at BGO. Wear your patriotic gear as we celebrate America and pay tribute to our military families. All concerts are family friendly and FREE to the public. Lawn chairs and picnics are welcome or enjoy food & drink from local food trucks. Consider riding your bike with b-parking on the Tyson terrace. Please leave your furry friends at home.

City of Elkins Fireworks
The event will include music and concessions available by the Elkins Lions Club. Fireworks to follow. Bring lawn chairs or blankets.

Saturday, July 1:
Ventris Trail’s End Resort Fireworks Show
The fireworks are choreographed to music and the show is best seen by boat as it’s projected toward the lake for an incredible effect caused by the reflection from the water. The location is just South of marker “8″ on Beaver Lake, just look for the banners. The display is their way of saying “thank you” to our troops, those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, the community, and all the volunteers that helped to put on the show.

5th Annual Celebrate Prairie Grove
The event includes free swimming at the aquatic center, free food, drinks, snacks, and inflatables. Capped off around 9:30 p.m. with a fireworks display.

Eureka Springs Happy Birthday Stroll
The Eureka Springs Historical Museum will host this fun-filled historical event on Saturday, July 1st, and Sunday, July 2nd, from 5-8 pm. Tours will leave the parking lot every 30 minutes, with tours lasting one hour. The event will focus on the “upper loop” of Eureka Springs. A historical character will be featured outside each home or landmark giving a brief summary of the significance of the structure pertaining to the history of Eureka Springs, and the people who resided or worked there.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children 9 and under. Ticket price includes the stroll, with birthday cake and ice cream at the end. Live music will also be provided for entertainment. Limited tickets will be available the day of the stroll, so please plan to purchase in advance.

Sunday, July 2:
Prairie Creek Marina Fireworks
Many people take their boats out on the water to watch these fireworks, but you can still see the show from nearby. One option is to watch them from your car at Corps of Engineers Park.
The Corps charges $5 per car for day use fee. We’ve also been told that you can see them from the Highway 12 bridge area and also at the top of the hill from the Marina (basically across from the Beaver Lake Lodge). For food options, JJ’s on the Lake is at the Marina.

Fireworks at the Crosses
The 10th Annual Fireworks at the Crosses will be at the Pinnacle Hills Campus in Rogers. Invite your friends and family to join the entire Cross Church family on Sunday, July 2. We will have a patriotic celebration featuring live music, outdoor baptisms, and fireworks. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

4th of July Fireworks, Eureka Springs’ Lake Leatherwood Park
Spend the day swimming, hiking, paddling or just hanging out at the park. Concessions will be available. Free shuttles will be running to and from the lake. Fireworks at dark.

The Great American Blast, NWA Naturals
This is the first of a two-night event that accompanies Naturals’ home games against the San Antonio Missions (Double-A San Diego Padres) with both games scheduled for a 6:35 p.m. first pitch. GAB features a post-game Fireworks Spectacular following the game.

This is the second of a two-night event which accompanies Naturals’ home games against the San Antonio Missions (Double-A San Diego Padres). Scheduled for a 6:35 p.m. first pitch. Fireworks finale!

4th of July Spectacular, Walmart AMP
The Walmart AMP will present the annual 4th of July Spectacular featuring the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas (SoNA) under the direction of Paul Haas on Tuesday, July 4. Celebrate the holiday with a patriotic concert, fireworks sponsored by the city of Rogers, and fun activities for the whole family. Walmart AMP gates open at 6 p.m. Music starts at 7:30 p.m. and ends with a 15-minute firework display at 9:15 pm. Advance ticket prices range from $3 to $35.
Directly before the concert (5pm-8pm), you’re also invited to enjoy FREE festivities for families in the Unilever/Kimberly-Clark parking lot located west of the Walmart AMP. This family-friendly event is sponsored by the City of Rogers and features games, food and family fun … plus, FREE watermelon provided by Regions Bank.

An Evening at Orchards Park
Bentonville Parks and Recreation invites the public to attend the Annual Evening at Orchards Park-Bentonville’s 4th of July Fireworks Celebration. Join the City of Bentonville on Monday, July 4th as they celebrate our Nation’s Independence at Orchards Park. Music will begin at 7 P.M. At approximately 9:30 p.m., the fireworks show will start. Concessions will be available.

Gentry Freedom Fest
The Freedom Festival promises fun for the entire family during the day and a fireworks display after dark. The event includes music, food, fun and entertainment. Barrett Baber to perform at 7:30 p.m.

Location: Park anywhere on the west side of town. Many people go to the Farmington High School football stadium to watch the show.

Fire in the Sky – Independence Day Celebration
This event is free. Parking lot opens at 6 p.m. and there will be parachutists, music, concessions and more. Fireworks display will begin at 9:15 p.m. Rain date is Tuesday, July 5.

42nd Annual Devil’s Den Games
Free. Meet at the ball field in Camp Area E. Enjoy a fun filled family day of horseshoes, parades, and much more, all topped off with homemade ice cream!
