Tired of the whining? Try this.

There’s nothing that sucks the energy out of the day quite like a whiny kid. It’s one of those behaviors that can quickly become the normal way of communicating, if we’re not careful. You can become almost blind to the bad habit when it becomes your everyday experience. Not only is it bad for your own family dynamics, other adults and kids will also notice the whining, which may impact your child’s ability to make or keep friends.

If whining is wearing you down, take a look at this article we found on the Tinybeans website. It’s titled “How to Get Kids to (Mostly) Stop Whining, According to a Parent Coach.” It includes some great tips and examples of how to make sure your kid’s whining isn’t successful. Because when whining gets a kid what he or she wants, they’ll definitely do it again (and again).
