Imagine Studios Summer Camps
About Imagine Studios summer camps:
Imagine Studios has been hosting fun summer art camps for 14 years in NWA! Each themed camp session will feature multiple projects including canvas painting, wood door hangers, watercolor/drawing, Sculpey clay, ceramic pottery, and other arts and crafts. Camps are offered Mondays through Thursdays, and parents can choose from either morning or afternoon sessions. If you register and pay by May 1st, you can get 10 percent off the camp registration fee. Choose from either a 3-day or 4-day camp session for kids in the age range of Kindergarten through 8th grade.

Camp times: 9 a.m. to noon; or 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Cost: $185 for each 3-4 day camp session ($50 non-refundable deposit)

June 3-6, 2024
- 9 a.m.-noon: Just Beachy — Sun’s shining, surf’s up, and shades on! Create all things beachy, from sandcastle sculptures to seashell creatures. Seas the paintbrush and dive into endless beach fun! (K-5th grade)
- 1-4 p.m.: Pet Boutique — Do you love dogs, cats, mini pigs, and more fun pets? Create art versions of the pets you love in watercolor, ceramic, and canvas. Plus, we’ll make our own pet treats. (1st-6th grade)
June 10-13, 2024
- 9 a.m. -noon: Aloha Summer! — If you like pineapples and flamingos, sunshine, and island time, join us for this tik-rific camp full of tropical fun. (K-5th grade)
- 1-4 p.m: Mad Scientist — Combine art and science in this STEAM-based camp. Grab your goggles and lab coat and experiment with color and materials that pop and ooze and fizz. Projects include magnetic slime and tie-dye tees. (1st-6th grade)
June 17-20, 2024
- 9 a.m. – noon: Feelin’ Groovy — Peace, love & art. Good vibes only in this 60s throwback camp. Tie-dye tees, flower power painting, hippie vans, and more groovy art. (1st-6th grade)
- 1-4 p.m.: Enchanted Forest — Welcome to the land of magical dreams where woodland fairies flutter over flowers, sprinkling glitter everywhere! Campers will create a whimsical fairy garden, paint mushrooms and gnomes, make wands and concoct a magical pixie potion. (K-5th grade)
June 24-27, 2024
- 9 a.m.-noon: Creativity is a Superpower — Explore pop culture and pop art drawing inspiration from popular heroes and villains. Paint pottery, create your own villain or hero, paint a canvas inspired by artist Roy Lichenstein, and more! (1st-6th grade)
- 1-4 p.m.: Clay All Day — Sculpt your own masterpieces from different kinds of clay, including hand-building using slab, coil, and pinch techniques with earthenware clay, mini sculptures using oven-baked clay, and even creating your own sculpting clay from flour and salt. This is not a pottery wheel class. (2nd-8th grade)
July 1-2 & 12, 2024
- 9 AM-noon: Sculpt & Spin A –Get a little bit (or a lot) muddy as we take the pottery wheels for a spin! This camp will focus on techniques of throwing pottery on the wheel as well as using hand-building skills to create a hanging wall planter, succulent planters, and more. (3rd-8th grade) *Note the dates, please! Two days for clay work and the final day for glazing techniques.
- No afternoon camp is offered on these days.
July 8-11, 2024
- 9 a.m.-noon: The Sweet Life — Bring your sweet tooth to this camp! Sweet-themed art and sweet treats you create to eat? Yes, please! From ice cream cone jars to cupcake piggy banks and pop art lollipops, this camp is for all the sweeties out there. (1st-6th grade)
- 1-4 p.m.: Muggles, Magic & Mayhem — Wizards and Muggles alike in this camp! Make magical creatures, paint a dragon’s egg, design your own wand, make potions, and explore the Wizarding World through art. (2nd-8th grade)
July 15-18, 2024
- 9 a.m.-noon: Sculpt & Spin B (Dates are July 15 & 16, and July 26) Get a little bit (or a lot) muddy as we take the pottery wheels for a spin! - 9 a.m.-noon: Preschool Picassos (July 17 & 18) Hands-on art for your little Picasso! Draw, paint, and create with Miss Melanie! Watercolor, homemade play dough, canvas, and pottery projects. (Ages 3-entering 1st grade) The camp cost is $100 for this two-day camp with no discounts.

Aug 5-8, 2024

- 1-4 p.m.: Starry Night — This one’s for the dreamers, the future astronauts, the alien designers, the galaxy-obsessed, and the star lovers…a week of art centered on planetary and interstellar exploration any kid will LOVE! (K-6th grade)
