Welcome to November! Here’s what’s happening this month all over Northwest Arkansas.

A mansion. A murder. A mystery. Murder and blackmail are on the menu when six mysterious guests assemble at Boddy Manor for a night they’ll never forget! Based on the fan-favorite 1985 Paramount Pictures movie and inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is the ultimate whodunit that will leave you dying of laughter and keep you guessing until the final twist.Dates: Nov. 7-9

Gather the whole family and go out to Downtown Bentonville for a free, family-friendly event. Bring your own lawn chairs, picnic blankets, and your favorite theater snacks.

Join NWA Wild Birds Unlimited Education Director Lauren Eno on a bird walk to discover some winter resident birds at Hobbs State Park. This beginner-friendly bird walk will help birders of all levels practice bird ID, find out how birds survive the coldest months, and how to bring a variety of these birds to your yard this winter. Bring your trail shoes, comfortable layers, and water bottle. Binoculars, cameras, and the Merlin Bird ID app are helpful but not required! They will also have binoculars to borrow. Meet at the Sinking Stream Trailhead.

After two decades as one of the most beloved and enduring musicals on the stage, Wicked comes to Walton Arts Center as a spectacular, generation-defining cinematic sing-along. Wicked is rated PG.

The white-tailed deer is just one of the fascinating animals that call Hobbs State Park-Conservation area home. It’s time for the rut and now is the perfect time to learn more about these majestic creatures. They’ll have information on deer biology, herd behavior, chronic wasting disease and how habitat plays an important role in their future. A fun, 15-minute interactive program will start every half-hour. Come and go as you please.

The Northwest Arkansas Boutique Show is fan favorite shopping event with thousands of unique gifts from over 185 carefully curated merchants all under one roof. It’s a great way to get your shopping done and support local women and businesses. Most of the vendors at this show are Arkansas-based and 95 percent of them are women-owned.

Based on the worldwide bestselling hit series, Dog Man: The Musical is a hilarious and heartwarming production following the chronicles of Dog Man. With the head of a dog and the body of a policeman, Dog Man loves to fight crime and chew on furniture. But while trying his best to be a good boy, can he save the city from Flippy the cyborg fish and his army of Beasty Buildings? Can he catch Petey, the world’s most evil cat, who has cloned himself to exact revenge on the doggy do-gooder? Find out in this epic musical adventure featuring the beloved characters from Dav Pilkey, the creator of Captain Underpants.

Astronomy Night with Sugar Creek Astronomical Society
Hobbs will begin with an indoor program by Kent Marts who will explain the various types of telescopes. Learning about their differences can aid decisions as to what you want to do. From casual gazing for fun, solar observation, deep sky viewing, to astrophotography, there are many ways to have fun looking at the night sky. Kent will share tips on shopping for a telescope. Weather and cloud cover permitting, outdoor viewing will begin about 5:30 p.m. We will have a crescent moon, with Mars low in the evening sky and Antares, the Heart of Scorpius. Uranus and Neptune could be visible. Club members will bring high quality amateur telescopes for public viewing. Items you may wish to bring include a red light, binoculars, and a lawn chair. Reservations not required. Recommended for ages 8+

Time: 4:30-7:30 p.m. Weather and cloud cover permitting, outdoor viewing will begin about 5:30 p.m.

Fall Mini-Camps at Crystal Bridges
Designed for kids ages 4 to 18, these weeklong day camps each focus on a different kind of creative fun. Explore the grounds in a camp all about art and nature, or give the architect in the family a chance to build their skills with a camp connecting STEM and the arts.

“Got Water?” Monument Trail Tabletop
Water is essential to have available on your outdoor adventures, whether hiking or biking the trails. Learn how to figure out how much water you need to take on hikes or rides to avoid dehydration. Find out methods of purifying water for longer hikes or camping trips, and in case of an emergency. Test your knowledge of the water cycle and see if you can figure out how to create a water still from simple materials. A 15-minute program will start every half hour. Come and go as you please.
