The Black Eyed Pea New Years Day Run
Fundraising 5K and 10K run with local friends and fellow runners. 100% of donations go to FHS Cross Country Program. Coffee and hot chocolate provided PLUS Black Eyed Peas and Cornbread for afterwards.

Blackout: Youth Art Camp
Enroll your kids this holiday break in BLACKOUT, a youth art camp led by teaching artist Heather Younger Morton! The windows of The Artist’s Lab will be blacked out, and the focus of the camp will be on light and its effects through art projects, dramatic productions, and experiments. Students will get to experiment with black and white photography, color theory, projections, and more! Through these lessons, students will be introduced to historical and contemporary artists that use light as a subject. This camp is open to youth aged 6-12, and space is limited!

Free Demo: Splatter and Stretch Preschool Art & Movement
It’s time to get MESSY! This 45-minute preschool art class is designed for children 2-5 to explore the elements of art through sensory and process-based exploration. Young children learn best through play and exploration, and this guided art class will stimulate the senses and engage your child’s creativity. Class will include movement and yoga to support focus, relaxation, and health. Will provide washable materials, but “messy-safe” attire is recommended. This is a parent/caregiver -supported activity.

Little Sprouts Winter Wonderland
Little Sprouts off-season with Winter Wonderland. Little Sprouts is the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks’ story & activity time for preschoolers and their parents. 30 minute sessions and on chillier mornings the program will be held indoors. Art on the Bricks-Featuring Art Ventures NWA
Downtown Rogers Art on the Bricks welcomes Art Ventures NWA to the monthly art walk in January. Join the artists and art lovers for the artist reception and exhibit. MLK Day of Remembrance
Join Bentonville Parks & Recreation in celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Bring a canned good to the Community Center to benefit those less fortunate. It is in deeds, small as well as large, that we are able to live his words of caring, sharing of our abundance, and spreading kindness. Youth are encouraged to decorate Unity Hands, which will then be displayed throughout the Bentonville Community Center. 5th Annual Princess for a Day, Pagnozzi Charities
Bring your little princess dressed in her favorite princess attire. She will be able to get her nails painted, make-up applied, and make a princess craft. There will be 14 fairytale princesses at the event this year for your child to visit with, get an autograph from and have their photo taken with. There are morning and afternoon session. Money raised at this event will go to the Pagnozzi Youth Sports Assistance Fund in order to provide assistance for dance and gymnastics. Pagnozzi Charities provides sports assistance to underprivileged children K-8th Grade in Northwest Arkansas.

NWA Beautiful Girls Retreat, this year’s theme is “Brave”. Speakers include Marine Corporal Aaron Mankin, BHS Student Body President and Homecoming Queen Emma Mae Jenkins, Marjorie Jackson, author of Devoted, and worship leaders Caleb + Kelsey from Anthem Lights. Community-based and serve hundreds of girls in two teaching tracks (4th-7th grade and 8th grade-college age and their mothers/leaders).
