Moms’ Night Out: Escape to Margaritaville at Walton Arts Center!

Mamas, we know the summer break is over, but that doesn’t mean the party has to be over, too. We’re hosting a Moms’ Night Out on October 24, 2019 at Walton Arts Center to see the Broadway show “Escape to Margaritaville.” So let’s all sneak off and escape back into summer for one fun night out with the girls.

If you like romantic comedies (raising our hands now), then you’ll love this show. It features Jimmy Buffett’s music — some of his greatest hits along with some new original music. Our group will be on the first and second rows for this fun show full of music, dancing, flirting, comedy, tropical costumes and falling in love.

USA Today calls this show “a little slice of paradise,” and Entertainment Weekly says “It will knock your flip-flops off!”

Speaking of flip-flops, that’s exactly what Shannon and I will be wearing to this Moms’ Night Out. No need to worry about what to wear. Throw on a tropical t-shirt or something fun, slide into your flip-flops and come hang out with your mama friends. We’ll be hosting a tropical happy hour reception at Walton Arts Center at 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., with the show to follow at 7 p.m. We’d love to see you there.

One of the things we love about this particular show is that it’s one of those feel-good musical comedies that make you want to sing along. And everyone we know loves to sing along to Jimmy Buffet songs! Some of the songs included in this show are “Fins,” “Volcano,” “Cheeseburger in Paradise,” and many more. (And the person in charge of the orchestrations in this show is Michael Utley, who is a graduate of University of Arkansas!)

HOW TO JOIN MOMS’ NIGHT OUT: We want you to be there for this fun night! You’ve been mommin’ all summer long, so why not give yourself a night off to celebrate with friends? Come on your own or grab a bestie or two and get tickets with our group. Ticket cost is $51 and all additional fees have been waived for our group, plus you’ll have the happy hour reception before the show.

You can plan on enjoying delicious appetizers from the fabulous Bordinos (they have some Buffett-worthy food planned just for us!) before we all flood into the theatre and take over the first two rows. Woo-hoooo!
