If you missed it, Mom Prom tickets are officially ON SALE NOW and we want you to be there!

If you’ve never been to the prom before (this is the third year), we want you to know it’s an absolute blast and not stuffy in the least. This is a huge girls’ night out and the atmosphere is very welcoming.
Nobody cares if you’re wearing a ball gown or that LBD you already have in your closet. If you’re worried about what you might wear, click here to see some of the pics from last year, (Trust us: It’s a wide range.)
And guess what the theme will be this year? A night in the tropics! Expect some fun surprises and to dance the night away with a fruity drink in your hand. (If you’re pregnant, we’ll have non-alcoholic fruity punch, no worries!)
This year’s prom will benefit Saving Grace, a safe home for young women who have aged out of the foster system in Arkansas. The girls (ages 17 to 24) are taught life skills, financial peace and they’re connected with three mentors who help them begin their adult lives in a positive way.
We’re excited that we’ll be able to give them a donation to help further this good work.
We know the founder personally (Hi Becky!) and have been amazed and impressed with how she has grown this organization during the past 5 years.
We’re also excited to announce that we’ll be partying at a new place, Metroplex Event Center in Springdale!
Metroplex has been in Rogers for years, but the owners opened the new Springdale location in mid-December with an 80s party. It was SO cute. But not as cute as our tropical-themed Mom Prom is going to be!
Who’s ready for a Girls’ Night Out in paradise?
Metroplex has been our go-to for the past two years of Mom Prom, providing beautiful ceiling treatments, white leather furniture, sparkly chandeliers, up-lighting, the Mom Prom Queen’s Chair (remember: the prom queen is chosen among all the ticket holders, so anyone can win!) and special little touches on the tables and chairs. Their new venue is HUGE and will offer plenty of room for 600 women and moms.
FYI: If you’re planning a big event — a wedding, a milestone birthday party, a themed party or a corporate shindig — be sure to call owner Fredy at 479-636-5333 and he’ll help you out. Fredy is happy to offer a free consultation. If you need a venue, he’ll take you on a tour and he’s great at brainstorming possibilities.
Of course, if you need Metroplex to come to you (like we did in years 1 and 2 of the Mom Prom) they service all of Northwest Arkansas. They deliver and set up event decor to the whole region. In addition to all the beautiful decor and furniture, they can provide audio, lighting, video equipment, chairs, linens and even glassware. (Click here to see more on the Metroplex Facebook page!)
We’re thrilled that so many amazing local businesses have already committed to sponsoring this prom. They value NWA women and want them to have a great party!
Here’s a list of our current sponsors {if your company is interested in being a sponsor, contact us for details at mamas@nwamotherlode.com}:
First Bank — Once again First Bank will sponsor our “Shoe Bank” where you can deposit your shoes when your feet get tired and then withdraw them when it’s time to go home!
Sisters Boutique — Sisters, a Mercy Hostpial health boutique (they have all kinds of baby items, nursing support and clothing for women undergoing chemo), is sponsoring our photo booth. You can pose with friends at the photo area and also in this fun photo booth with LOTS of fun props!
MJW Photography — Our professional Mom Prom photographer! Mindy Worthington is an absolute doll and she knows how to shoot 🙂 All of Mindy’s professional photos will be free for Mom Prom attendees to download. How cool is that?
Brieshi — Brieshi is back, sponsoring our amazing Mom Prom Glam Squad! Stylists from Brieshi will be on hand at the event to make sure your makeup and hair remain beautiful the whole night through. Just stop by their booth and they’ll be happy to help.
The Mustache Goods & Wears — The Mustache is sponsoring our guys again this year. No men are allowed at the Mom Prom, but we will have cardboard cutouts of celebrity dudes that you can pose with (and dance with!).
We’d also like to thank our sponsors at the NWA Mall, LifeStyle Dentistry, Hull Dermatology & Aesthetics, Smile Shoppe and Kumon.
Also, a huge thanks to our BFFs: Collier Drug Store, Premier Dermatology, Britney Armer with Jamberry Nails and Angela Taylor with Plexus.
Without our sponsors, this party with a purpose couldn’t happen. If you’re shopping or receiving services at any of these businesses, be sure to tell them thanks for supporting the NWA Mom Prom! Click here to like the Mom Prom Facebook page to stay up to date on all the event news!
