Okay, mamas… we’ll admit it. We have seen a few of those extra wide, tall refrigerators — both in person and on television shows — and we have fantasized about how awesome it would be to have one of those beauties in our own homes.
No more squeezing leftovers into the fridge or balancing them on top of something else. There’d be plenty of room for those big casserole dishes and platters used for Thanksgiving and Christmas. These things are the luxury tour bus of kitchen appliances.
We were dealing with our big fridge obsession pretty well until we saw this video posted by our buddies at Metro Appliances & More. That’s when we fell in love all over again. This one is a Frigidaire Stainless Steel Side-by-Side Column Refrigerator and Freezer Set. It comes with a trim kit to make it fit nicely into kitchen cabinetry.
If your refrigerator is cramping your style or is limping toward its finish line, you can test drive an oversized or “single door” fridge and freezer unit at Metro Appliances & More. They have a few of these refrigerators on their enormous showroom floor, so you can see what it looks like in a real kitchen setting.

8am to 7 pm Mondays thru Thursdays, 8am to 5pm on Fridays, and on Saturdays from 9am to 5pm.
They have actual humans who are there just to help you find things! Just check in at the front desk and they’ll send a salesperson over to meet you and show you around. But they won’t pressure you or hover too much if you’re just there to browse and get info.
