Mamas, we’re always on the lookout for a great recipe that takes 30 minutes or less. None of us want to be stuck in the kitchen cooking for hours on a busy school night. So, this recipe from the Damn Delicious website got our attention because it looks amazing and it takes advantage of using already-made ravioli that you can buy at the store. (We like the Rana brand we’ve bought at the Walmart Supercenter.)
The sun-dried tomato sauce is really the thing that’s going to launch this recipe into your regular rotation and make it fancy enough to prepare for guests, too. - 2 (9-ounce) packages refrigerated ravioli
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small shallot, diced
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, optional
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- ⅓ cup dry white wine
- 1 ½ cups chicken stock
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup julienned sundried tomatoes, chopped
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
