Artosphere 2025
Enjoy free Artosphere events May 1-18. The Artosphere Festival celebrates art, music and nature with exciting performances, activities and events that the whole family can enjoy. Each year, Artosphere spotlights artists and performers from around the world who are inspired by nature, and provides a creative framework for the community to discuss issues of sustainability and environmental awareness. Celebrate National Space Day with Fayetteville Public Library
Explore real meteorites with the University of Arkansas Museum, then stick around for a fun and informative talk on the planets with NWA Space board member Dustin Masterson.

Trout Fishing in America Concert
Trout Fishing in America’s Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet have been friends and songwriting partners for 49 years. This nationally touring duo has traveled over a million miles and performed in all 50 states, parts of Canada and Europe. They writes music for people who take their fun seriously, and their dynamic sound, relatable lyrics and unique stage presence offer something for everyone. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and stop by for a free family-friendly concert on the Botantical Garden of the Ozark’s Great Lawn. Food will be available for purchase from food trucks in the parking lot. Water will be provided free of charge by Beaver Water District. Free with registration. Part of the Artosphere Festival.

23 Skidoo & The Secret Agency
As the first song blasts out, Secret Agent 23 Skidoo begins a family dance party that is more Soul Train than Thomas the Train. His infectious love for beats, rhymes and originality invites the crowd to hit the dance floor. When the funky beat and the bass groove drop, even the shyest kids get in on the action … and so do their parents! From basketball courts in the Bronx to theaters in the Smithsonian, the force of fun tracks and positive raps is an unstoppable national phenomenon! Celebrated as the “King of Kid Hop”, Secret Agent 23 Skidoo is a one-of-a-kind, stand out star in the indie family music scene.

Family Arts in the Park
Enjoy a day of outdoor exploration and free family fun in Springdale’s new Luther George Park. Activities include live face painting, two performances from the musical variety duo mömandpöp and interactive activations at 11am and 1:30pm of Polyglot Theatre’s Bees, humming human-sized bees that uncover the intricate and mysterious work of bees. Part of the Artosphere Festival.

Fayetteville Strawberry Festival
Downtown Fayetteville Coalition (DFC) will bring the Fayetteville Strawberry Festival back for a second year to the historic downtown square. This is a free and family-friendly celebration of summer. DFC is excited to announce two special additions to this year’s event. First, there will be a honky tonk street dance on Saturday night, May 17th, to kick off the weekend festivities. Attendees will be able to two-step to Tara and the Gift Horses and The Pink Stones on the historic downtown square from 6-9pm. Second, a BERRY special guest, Murial Fahrion, the original creator and illustrator of the iconic Strawberry Shortcake franchise, will be onsite Sunday with Strawberry Shortcake memorabilia and merchandise for sale. For Sunday’s main event, downtown Fayetteville will be bustling with things to see and do including two stages filled with music, games, and competitions.

Roar & Explore with Dinosaurs
Get ready to stomp, chomp, and roar your way through a prehistoric paradise in the Amazeum’s newest traveling exhibit from Miami Children’s Museum, Roar & Explore with Dinosaurs. This spectacular 2,500 square foot exhibit invites children to journey back to the age of dinosaurs in an educational and exciting environment. Featuring seven breathtaking animatronic dinosaurs, each showcased in its own unique setting with lifelike movements and sounds, this exhibit promises a thrilling prehistoric adventure. From the long Diplodocus to the fierce Tyrannosaurus Rex, each dinosaur is placed within realistic scenery and landscaping, creating an immersive environment. A Velociraptor with a nest of hatching eggs rounds out the experience, as visitors can watch a new baby Velociraptor come to life. Additional exhibit highlights include a 3D dinosaur skeleton puzzle and a fossil dig pit where young explorers can unearth their own prehistoric treasures. These hands-on activities are designed to captivate children’s imaginations while sharing more about the magnificent creatures that once roamed the Earth. Access to Roar & Explore with Dinosaurs is included in museum admission. Member Preview: Saturday, May 24

LIVE! at Turnbow Outdoor Concert Series
Downtown Springdale’s beloved LIVE! at Turnbow outdoor concert series kicked off its 2025 season in April, bringing free, family-friendly live music to Turnbow Park in the heart of downtown. Hosted by the Downtown Springdale Alliance and presented by the Tyson Family Foundation, this series will take place on the last Thursday in May, August, and September, beginning at 6:30 PM. Each concert will spotlight local musicians, offering an opportunity to enjoy the incredible talent of the region. This year’s lineup includes May 29: Opening act Monét, with headliner Pura Coco; August 28: Opening act The Jeff Horton Band, with headliner JukeBoxx ; and September 25: Opening act Leon Carlo, with headliner Amos Cochran
