25th Annual Cane Hill Kite Festival
Bring the whole family out for a fun, affordable day flying kites and enjoying great food. Concessions will benefit Friends of Prairie Grove Pound, with food generously provided by returning sponsors Texas Roadhouse and Magnolia House. Just $1 for kids, $2 for adults, and veteran families fly free. In case of bad weather, the festival will be held on March 14. Find more information on Facebook or Instagram — or call 479-824-8109

Location: Springfield Ranch, 14306 S. Highway 45, Cane Hill
An all-day festival for the dogs. Plus a performance by Puppy Pals at 4 p.m. Muttminster is the dog show for all dogs- large, small, athletic, talented, an unconventional beauty, or a rising star. Dogs can enter various competitions like “Most like their Owner”, “Best Fashion”, “Smallest Dog”, and more. Guests can expect vendors and booths full of supplies, treats, and activities for owners and their dogs. The event will end with a ticketed performance by Puppy Pals, as seen on America’s Got Talent. $10 per dog, free for attendees.

Clay, creativity, and a little mess. Join Community Creative Center every Friday and Saturday for a one-night pottery experience. No clay experience needed—bring a friend, partner, or family member, enjoy wine and laughter, and they’ll take care of glazing and firing your work.

Get ready to embark on a journey of intergalactic proportions as you uncover the Secrets of Space. Using special effects, original music, live vocals, magical illusions and state of the art digital media, the wonders of the galaxy will be explored in dazzling detail while unpacking key ideas in science, technology, engineering and math in a creative and interactive way. Secrets of Space has been developed with leading space industry experts and features key curriculum connections for an elementary school audience, brought to you by the award-winning creative team Cahoots. Recommended for ages 7 and up.

Billy Goats Gruff and Other Tales
Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia’s newest production presents a fresh and engaging reimagining of three cherished children’s stories: Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Three Little Pigs and The Three Billy Goats Gruff. Filled with adventure, humor and heroism, the story follows a brave raccoon and clever mouse who are on a journey to collect treasure. This imaginative retelling offers a captivating adventure full of laughter, friendship and wonder for young audiences. Recommended for ages 3 and up. Tickets are only $10.
