We think every kid should go on at least one big family road trip, and not just to see the countryside or to add to the stamp collection. Road trips are simply a great bonding experience. Families are forced to get along with other in a small space and how to beat boredom together.
Road trips set the stage for some of the most enduring family comedies — and tragedies. They produce those stories that always come up at family gatherings to make everyone laugh.

Loved the donut story! I have great memories of road trips with my folks. They always drove a conversion van and I had lots of space to move around, or lay down if I wanted, (no seat belts back then).
Yes, we totally remember the no seat belts! So much more comfortable to travel — but definitely not as safe 🙂
