We all know that non-profit donations are down everywhere because of the economy. But here’s a chance to make a difference without giving a dime. We’re not asking for money here — what we’re asking is that you vote for the area Make-A-Wish Foundation so they can hopefully grant a wish in the “12 Wishes in 12 weeks promotion” with Betty Crocker!
Here’s what you do: Go to www.stirringupwishes.org each day until May 25 (or as often as you think of it) and vote for Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-west. You’ll see a map of the U.S. and you can point your mouse to Little Rock or Memphis.
The top four chapters in each group (the red dots) will get some wishes paid for by Betty Crocker. This is a way for Motherlode mamas to support Make-A-Wish with just a minute of your time and with the wonderful possibility of helping kids get their wishes met.
For those not familiar with the organization, the Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
