Listen to This: A podcast on “Productivity for Mortals”

Hi, mamas! We’ve got another podcast episode that’s a must-listen for busy parents. What I loved about this particular episode is that it features a mom of three — Laura Mae Martin — (who’s pregnant with her fourth baby), who also happens to be a productivity expert working for Google. She coaches Google executives on how to manage their time, and she also writes a newsletter about productivity that reaches 50,000 people working for Google.

But most importantly, she lives her own advice because she has to. When you’re managing a household, a family, and a career, you have no choice but to find ways to prioritize what matters most to you. Why not get that kind of advice from someone who has studied productivity professionally and also understands what it’s like to be a mama in the trenches?

This interview was featured on an excellent podcast called “The Good Life Project,” whose host, Jonathan Fields, tackles so many interesting topics. His expert guest on this episode, Laura Mae Martin, also has a book available called “Uptime: A Practical Guide to Personal Productivity and Wellbeing.”

I felt like I learned quite a bit from this episode, and I played parts of it a second time because I wanted the main points to stick in my memory.
