EDITED TO ADD: Unfortunately, this contest is over! See this story to see who won (link).
It has been a fun couple of weeks, reading all the great e-mails and comments posted in our Spring Clean Giveaway sponsored by Metro Builders Supply. But it’s almost time to pick a name out of the online hat! We’ll select a winner at random today at NOON, and we’ll send an e-mail to the lucky person to let her know. We’ll ask that person to give us a call so we can get their address for delivery! Exciting, huh?
If you haven’t thrown your name in the hat, CLICK HERE to see the page with details for how to enter. It’s very simple. Just post a comment by clicking the “comment” button below the dotted line at the bottom of the post, or send us an e-mail at mamas@nwaMotherlode.com.
As soon as we hear from our winner, we’ll write an announcement and post it on the website. Might happen today and might be as late as Monday, depending on when the person gets the good news and calls us back. We’re SO excited! Can’t wait to talk to one of you lucky, lucky mamas.
Here’s a bit of more good news: If you don’t hear from us today and you don’t win the new washer and dryer on pedestal stands, all hope is not lost. The manager at Metro Builders Supply sent us a note yesterday saying that we could invite our readers to a “private letter” sale at Metro (which only happens a couple times a year.) THE SALE IS THURSDAY, APRIL 16TH FROM 10 A.M. TO 8 P.M. Sales have to be completed on that one day to qualify for the special pricing.
Typically, the only people who know about this sale are the ones who get a private letter from Metro. But now you can consider yourselves invited. Just be sure to tell them you’re a Motherlode reader so they’ll know how you were invited to attend. This sale includes closeouts, specials, floor model clearance and discounts on just about everything. If you’re in the market for an appliance, you don’t want to miss this sale because it’s a good one. Call Metro at 479-750-2200 for more info.
I would LOVE to win the washer and dryer. I have never shopped at Metro Builders, but that will change. Sales people who know what they are talking about? “Private Letter” sale that I can go to? Affordable prices daily? I’m there!!!!
