Kids@Play: Amazeum’s Superhero experiment controls water

category-logo-kidsplay1Welcome back to the video series called Kids @ Play. It’s sponsored by the Amazeum and it’s designed to give all of us new ideas for creating fun (and educational) play experiences for kids and parents. (To see a collection of all the videos, click here to see them now.)

This month’s video is about being a superhero who can control water! You only need 3 supplies to do this experiment (over your kitchen sink, bathtub or outside), and your little ones will think it’s cool and fun. (They’ll never guess that they’re learning a few things about science even though they are.) Watch the video below to see a demonstration of how to do it. (We think the cape is a fun touch!)

Experiments like this one and so many others will be taking place daily at the Amazeum Summer Camps. There are lots of different camp themes to choose from, and there are camps for different age groups, ranging from age 6 up to age 16. Click HERE for info about the Amazeum’s Summer Camp program.

The Scott Family Amazeum is a hands-on, interactive museum for children and families located in Bentonville, Ark.
