Northwest Arkansas Calendar of Events for February 2026

There are some fun events happening this month in Northwest Arkansas. For more info about any of these events, just click the event name at the top of each listing. Here are a few that jumped out at us:

Beauty & the Beast at Walton Arts Center

This iconic show is coming back to Northwest Arkansas in early February, and it always attracts a packed audience. If you’re lucky enough to still find a ticket to see this show, don’t pass it up. We’ve seen it, and it’s incredible. There will be 8 performances while this show is in Northwest Arkansas.

Dates: February 3-8 (times vary)

Victorian Galentine’s & Florals

The Peel Museum & Botanical Garden is hosting an event for women looking for a fun Galentine’s vibe where you can also learn something new, meet new friends, or bring your besties. During this ticketed event, you’ll be taught how to create a floral arrangement that you can then take home with you. (All materials and flowers provided.) You’ll also get to sip on mimosas, eat some light treats and have non-alcoholic beverages while you learn about the origins of Valentine’s Day and even design your own Valentine’s Day card. Space is limited because the group size is kept small to make it more fun and personal.

Valentine Story Time with Ms. Molly

This will be a special Valentine’s Day-themed story time with Ms. Molly in the first floor Walmart story time room.

Location: Fayetteville Public Library

Sleeping Beauty Story Time

Join Springdale Public Library for a magical storytime experience as the NWA Conservatory of Classical Ballet brings Sleeping Beauty to life with a special performance of Act 3: Aurora’s Wedding. Children will enjoy beautiful dancing, colorful costumes, and a fairytale ending as Princess Aurora celebrates her royal wedding. This enchanting program is perfect for young dancers, dreamers, and story lovers of all ages.

Location: Springdale Public Library

Funday Sunday

Splash at the indoor pool or take a spin around the ice rink. Funday Sundays at the Jones Center are free.

Date: February 8, 2026, free swimming

Time: 1-5 p.m.

Sea of Romance

If you’re looking for something different than the typical Valentine’s Date Night, you might want to celebrate the day at the Sea of Romance event hosted by Blue Zoo at the Pinnacle Promenade Mall in Rogers. It’s a ticketed event that includes painting with a mermaid, an Olive Garden catered dinner in a decorated Party Cove, a special show held at the shark tank that features sharks, stingrays and reptiles — up close. There will also be an “Awkward Couple Photos with Reptiles” photo station, time to explore the aquarium, Animal Trivia, and a Fruit and Fancy Drink station. And bonus… you’ll be done long before 9pm if you need to get home to the kids.

Fayetteville Mardi Gras Parade

The annual Fat Saturday Parade of Fools will march through downtown on Saturday, February 14, 2026.Dust off your Mardi Gras best and gather your Krewe, floats and beads. The family-friendly traditional Parade of Fools will once again kick off the Mardi Gras celebration in Fayetteville at 2:00pm on the Historic Downtown Square, head up Block St, and then travel down Dickson St to West Ave.  Get ready for krewes and paraders with an abundance of costumes, floats, and multicolor beads.

SOUP-erbowl Party

The 3rd annual SOUP-erbowl Party features homemade soups, locally made bowls, and a food drive that benefits the NWA Food Bank. You’ll have the option to purchase a locally made bowl as well as homemade soups to go in it. Just bring a non-perishable food donation to help feed the more than 95,000 homeless women, children, and men who live in Northwest Arkansas. All food donations go directly to the NWA Food Bank.

FamJam event featuring “Pete the Cat” stage show

The Jones Center is bringing a really fun stage show called “Pete the Cat” to Northwest Arkansas on Saturday, February 21, 2026. There will be two performances that day — at 11am and 2pm. Tickets are only $10 and include free access to indoor swimming and indoor ice skating on the day of the show. There’s also a free themed craft activity available at the end of the show.
