Mamas, we found a few things in a recent email from Tinybeans that we think would be SO cute in a baby’s room, kid’s room or playroom. Check them out below, and then click here if you’d like to see more.
A is for adorable
Aren’t these chunky, rounded letters adorable? They make a big visual impact, and using these in a kid’s room or playroom can help reinforce learning for toddlers and preschoolers. They also come in pastel colors.

You can buy them by the letter if you’d just like to spell your child’s name. You also have options for different heights of the letters. Click the link below for all the details on the CuteMatterLab Etsy page:
Wall art without all the work
Sometimes we avoid updating rooms simply because paint and wallpaper feel like a LOT of work, and who has the time for it when your kids are little? But these vinyl peel-and-stick decorative images would be an easy way to give a kid’s room or play space a whole new look. If your kids are a little older, they can help with placing the shapes where they want them.

A Bedside Bassinet that does ALL the things
We love a beautiful bassinet, but function is even more important than looks. Mothers of newborns work HARD, day and night, so it’s great to have a bassinet that knows how to multi-task. This bedside bassinet by a company called Grownsy seems to have thought of almost everything a mom and newborn might need — adjustable heights, a rocking feature, an incline option to help prevent spit-up, portability, and more.

A pediatrician’s advice to go dark
When one of my three kids was a baby and having a LOT of trouble getting to sleep and staying asleet at night, my pediatrician gave me an important tip that I’ve never forgotten. He said I needed to make the baby’s room completely dark at night. No cute nightlights. No pretty lamp. He said complete darkness would make a difference, and he was right.
That’s when I became a big fan of blackout curtains. They make a big difference for daytime naps and for summer nights, too. Here’s a cute blackout curtain with fun stripes and ruffles from a company called Nestig.

Changing table on wheels
For those of us in two-story homes, we almost always end up with a makeshift diaper changing area on the lower level because sometimes we’re in a hurry and don’t want to go upstairs to the baby’s room. I used to change diapers on a blanket on the living room floor, which wasn’t ideal.
I wish I’d had this little portable changing table on wheels made by Maydolly, which would be ideal for a two-story home or a trip to Grandma’s house. I love that it’s height adjustable and can also fold down flat for trips out of town.
