Come meet Cat in the Hat!

“I will not eat it in a boat. I will not eat it with a goat. I do not like green eggs and ham. I do not like them, Sam I am.”

You might not like green eggs and ham, but we’re betting you and your little ones LOVE Dr. Seuss. And you’ll have a chance to meet the famous Cat in the Hat this Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Rogers Public Library from 9 a.m to 11:30 a.m. This event is being brought to Northwest Arkansas thanks to a sponsorship from Mercy Clinic Children’s Services.

Buckle your little Thing 1 and Thing 2 into the car and come to the library to meet the clever Cat in the Hat, have your picture made with him, see a screening of the AETN show “The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That” and enjoy some story time with your favorite Dr. Seuss books. There will be face painting, too. (Make sure you bring your camera.)

Over the past 10 years, all three of my kids have watched a lot of the educational shows on AETN. So we appreciate that Mercy Clinic Children’s Services has sponsored so the Cat in the Hat can meet the kids of Northwest Arkansas. Thanks, Mercy!
