Family-friendly fun for Halloween in Northwest Arkansas 2025

Happy Halloween season, mamas! Enjoy this list of fun events happening around Northwest Arkansas for 2025!

Sept.5-Nov. 1, 2025: Farmland Adventures. If you want to pick your own pumpkin, let the kids pet some cute animals, get lost in a corn maze and hang out on a farm for a few hours, visit Farmland Adventures. They are a tradition in Northwest Arkansas! There’s a maze tracker, a mini-maze for little ones, a petting farm, pony rides, fun treats and more.

Sept. 26-Oct. 31, 2025: Nightmare on Block Street. Pinpoint Fayetteville, Fayetteville. (21+ only) This Halloween Pop-up bar will feature a new Halloween-themed menu and a complete Halloween overload. Events at other venues are also planned.

Oct. 3-Nov. 1, 2025: Asylum Haunted House, Cave Springs. 2024. Open on weekends. Open on Halloween night and Nov. 1. (This is scary.)

Oct. 3, 2025: First Friday Haunted Holler, Downtown Bentonville Square.

Oct. 9-11, 2025: Phantasma in The Ramble, Fayetteville. This free experience will start in the Lower Ramble Thursday and Friday nights, October 9th and 10th. Reservations preferred. During your dedicated hour-long experience, you’ll enjoy a mesmerizing laser light show and dance along with a silent disco surrounded by the beauty of the Lower Ramble. Three DJs curated by Her Set Her Sound will be on three different channels for you to choose a variety of sounds to dance to while the lights move around you. Headphones are provided, but not necessary to enjoy the light show and music. New this year: On Saturday, October 11th, the lasers and DJs will move to the newly completed Upper Ramble for a totally different Phantasmic experience. This Glow Party will be from 7 to 10 pm and is also free for all ages to participate. A lineup of DJs will be playing during the evening with dance music for everyone to enjoy under the flashing laser light show. No reservations required, open to all.

HallowZing at the Amazeum. This is a sensory-friendly celebration where science meets enchantment, offering a magical experience for all. A night for children with special needs, their siblings, and grown-ups to have the Amazeum to themselves.

(Saturday) Oct. 25, 2025:

Safety Spooktacular Trunk or Treat. Arvest Ballpark, Springdale, 2-5 p.m.4th annual trunk or treat safety event, offered by the Northwest Arkansas regional hospitals and EMS agencies. Free food, games, bounce houses, candy, and information about injury prevention, while trick or treating in a safe, family environment. 

Springdale Halloween Fest, Luther George Park, Springdale. 4-7 p.m. The Springdale Police Department and Springdale Parks and Recreation – in partnership with Downtown Springdale Alliance – are joining together again to bring the Springdale Halloween Fest to Downtown Springdale. Celebrate Halloween with friends and family for a fun, free late afternoon and early evening in the beautiful, newly re-imagined Luther George Park. Free candy giveaways for the kids, touch-a-truck, carnival games, costumes (and costume contest), a famous pumpkin drop… and more.

Oct. 26, 2025: Trick Art Treat, Crystal Bridges Musuem, North Forest, Bentonville, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come have a ghoulishly good time trick-or-treating, eating candy, and exploring a forest of spooky, creative fun. Break out your costumes and visit the museum for Trick Art Treat: a day of family-friendly, Halloween-themed celebrations including character stops, music, live performances, and artmaking activities for everyone—dressed up or not—to enjoy. Free, no tickets required. Drop by anytime from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 31, 2025:

Costumes, Candy, and Cops Carnival. This annual event is at the Benton County fairgrounds starting at 6 p.m. Trunk-or-treat, games, food. Admission: One dry or nonperishable food.All donations benefit the NWA Children’s Shelter and the Children’s and Family Advocacy Center.

Goblin Candy Crawl, Railyard Park, 3:30-5:30 p.m. Pick up a trick-or-treat bag and map from the Rogers Historical Museum booth (in Railyard Park) and start your “candy crawl” around downtown. Local businesses will be open and handing out candy to all kiddos – so bring your sweet tooth. 

The Jones Center will have an indoor ice-skating session on Halloween night from 7-9pm, including spooky music, treats, and a costume contest. Cost is $7 for the two-hour session plus a $3 skate rental. 

Tontitown’s Annual Halloween Trick or Treat in the Park. The event will be held Halloween night, October 31st from 5:30 to 7:30 pm in Sbanotto Park.

Trick-or-Treat on the Trail will be held 4-6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, in the Lower Ramble, Fayetteville. Families can stroll the trail, meet friendly characters, and collect treats from local businesses and community organizations. Free and open to the public – all ages welcome. 25+ candy stations along the trail. Festive music and Halloween fun. Costumes encouraged.
