Giveaway: Tickets to “A Forest in the City” at Walton Arts Center

If your kids love to be part of the action no matter what it is, we’ve got a great ticket giveaway that will let them do exactly that. In the upcoming show called A Forest in the City at Walton Arts Center on May 14, 2024, your kids can join dancers on stage to create a whole new world of imagination.

This week we’re giving away FOUR tickets to the show.

This show is designed and recommended for kids who are 4 and up.

ABOUT THE SHOW:

In this interactive show, children from the audience are invited to the stage floor to create an imaginary city with two dancers from Compagnia TPO. This newborn city grows by combining architecture – houses and streets, color and light – with the living environment, like grass, trees and insects. The dream of a green city comes true. Visual, emotional, tactile and immersive, TPO’s creations use digital design to create interactive scenery, and all sets become “sensitive environments.” Dancers and audience members share the stage, as you experience the continuous crossfades between art and play.

HOW TO ENTER:

To throw your name in the online hat to win 4 tickets to see “A Forest in the City” at 6:30 p.m. at the Walton Arts Center on May 14, 2024, scroll down to the bottom of this post (and past the comments posted by other moms) until you see the words “Leave a Reply.”

Then write a quick comment telling us about one of your (or your kids’) favorite imaginary games. (Did you love to play “house” or “school” with your stuffed animals or siblings? I used to pretend that our family pets were joining the circus and that I was in charge of training them.)

Good luck in the drawing, and keep an eye on your email inbox because we’ll notify the ticket winner soon.

  1. I used to build a living space in my backyard – I would put sticks in a rectangle shape and call that my house. I would pick weeds and leaves and pretend I was making dinner. Then I would talk w/my invisible family. LOL
