  49. We love Cats but my 13 year old daughter and I used to watch it on VHS! This was supposed to be our first year going back to Silver Dollar City since 2014 when her brother was born, but we had to sink $2,000 into my husband’s truck to keep it alive until we get my car paid off. She would love to see this live. This is also the first year since his birth that we have not had to use 7-10 vacation days on a hospital visit for him – each year.

    • Also my favorite song is Mungojerry and Rumpleteaser, and I love the continuous cartwheel at the end of the song.

  78. I am a frazzled teacher and mom of four who would LOVE to see this show. When I was 17, I got the opportunity to travel and perform at several venues in NYC. At the time, a hit musical had come out four years earlier and each evening I would travel past the long lines of people who were seeing CATS. Several times during my visit, I would walk past the pictures of the actors in the box office lobby windows, and dream about seeing the performance myself. However, It’s now 35 years later and I’ve still not had the opportunity. It’s about time! Thanks for allowing me to share this memory.😽

My oldest is now a fanatic about being in band, and my youngest just broke her arm. My husband, a middle school teacher, and I just finally got everything in line for my youngest to have a 504.     This would be my daughter’s first musical and Broadway show. And she is old enough to understand and enjoy it!
