Spin-A-Round Meeting

Local members of Wool and Wheel Handspinners demonstrate the traditional art of spinning thread, and discuss the basics of making cloth. Knowing more about hand-woven cloth and hand-sewn clothing can enhance your appreciation of the lives people lived on and around this battlefield in the 19th century.

Eureka Springs Paranormal Weekend

The 1886 Crescent Hotel & Spa gives ghost hunters the opportunity to investigate “America’s most haunted hotel” –on their own–for three days and two nights. Attendees will investigate this mountaintop spa resort’s “most active” rooms including the “morgue,” to capture evidence of “guests who checked out but never left.”

Blue Man Group

Poncho Sanchez and his Latin Jazz Band

If music were about pictures, Mexican-American percussionist Poncho Sanchez’s music would best be described as a kaleidoscopic of some of the hottest colors and brightest lights to emerge from either side of the border. At any given show or on any given record, fragments of Latin jazz, swing, bebop, salsa and other infectious grooves collide and churn in a fiery swirl, with results that are no less than dazzling.

It’s Great to Skate – Ice Skating Clinic

The “It’s Great to Skate” clinic welcomes potential skaters to a day filled with fun, learning, and entertainment for free. The clinic will allow young and old to get out to experience ice skating and learn the “basics” from professional instructors in a fun-filled environment. There will be exhibitions, free classes, goodies and information available at the clinic put on by the Ozark Figure Skating Club and US Figure Skating.
