Mealtime Mama: Snow ice cream!

Did you ever eat snow ice cream as a kid? Well all this snow is reminding us of how good it is! We found a few recipes you can try. To start, just put out a big bowl when it starts to snow so you can collect enough for your ice cream.

This is the recipe we remember from our own snow days:

1 gallon or big bowl full of snow

1 cup sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup cream or milk

Just mix the ingredients together and enjoy plain or with your favorite toppings.

Recipe #2:

1 gallon or big bowl of clean snow

1 14-oz can of sweetened condensed milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

Chocolate Snow Ice Cream:

Big bowl of snow

1 cup sugar

1 cup chocolate milk

Big bowl of snow

1 14-oz can of sweetened condensed milk

chocolate syrup or cocoa powder, to taste
