Mamas on Magic 107.9: High-tech exercise for kids and parents

This week in Mamas on Magic 107.9 we’ve been talking about the latest tech that applies to parenting.

Recently, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the iBitz PowerKey was introduced. We think it’s a great way to combine video games and exercise.

The iBitz, made by GeoPalz, uses video games as a motivating force to get kids up and moving. It’s a small gadget that measures how much your kid moves and allows them to rack up points that will unlock video games and apps. It has different options for different age groups.

The app that goes with the device has a little character on it, and you have to keep yourself fit for the cartoon character to stay fit.
