  1. I love Les Miserables. I have seen in in London, NY and many other cities all over the US. I have probably seen it 15-20 times. I follow you on Twitter, Pinterest and commented on your FB page. I also get the weekly email. Fingers crossed! 🙂

  2. I’ve never been to the theater but would love to see a good show and take my kids! If you want a fabulous restaurant meal, try Bavarian Inn in Eureka Springs–it’s worth the drive. The sauerbraten is my all-time favorite but it goes on and off the menu. I asked why once and they told me they wanted very high quality beef for it and when it wasn’t available, they would just take it off the menu.

    I’m a weekly email subscriber 🙂

  3. I’m a Broadway connisiour:)
I love les miserables, wicked, Chicago, and so many more! I’m so excited that newsies we be on tour next year!! I’d love to win these tickets. I have not seen this show yet! 🙂

  4. One of the best meals I’ve ever had was at Pappy’s Smokehouse in St. Louis – if you ever visit the city, you must try it! It’s a looooong wait to get inside, but so worth it. I follow you all on Twitter (@stefjdf) and Pinterest (stefjdf01) and I commented on your FB page.

  5. My favorite theatre show is Les Miserables. I’ve had the fortune of seeing it twice. I love the beautiful costumes and music. I was able to take my family to a showing at the Waltom Arts Center. That show was the beginning of theatre love for my teenage children. The movie version is wonderful as well.

    Thank you,

    Aimee Sikes

  6. One of my favorite dates was dinner and a show in Chicago – we ate at Smith and Wollensky’s steak house along the river and saw Jersey Boys! That was 6 years ago! Would love to win to have a chance to have a similar date again! I also followed you on Twitter just now!

  7. I love Les Mis. I have seen it a couple of times and it never loses its appeal. Would love to see different kinds of shows though.

  8. I love theater and don’t get to go often at all due to cost. West side story is my favorite. Fingers crossed I get picked!!!!!

  9. One of our favorite places to eat is 28 Springs in Siloam Springs! Food is Fresh from the local Farmers market and the atmosphere is wonderful! Nice to have it in Siloam!

  10. Love Joespeh and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoust. Already bought tickets for when it comes to the area!!

  11. Definitely seen some great shows and all at WAC. Les Mis is probably still my fav. LOVE Bordino’s, so this date night would be perfect me. Plus, my hubby is off that night 🙂

  12. Phantom of the Opera!! Loved every minute of it. Would love to go see a show with my husband and some friends!

  13. I have seen many Broadway Shows and Wicked or Phantom of the Opera are top of my list!!!

  14. it’s a definite tie between Les Miserables and Wicked for my favorite show–My daughter would definitely say Wicked–she knows every word to every song. 🙂

  15. Picking a favorite stage show is like picking a favorite child. So many I love… Wicked, Fiddler, Wizard of Oz, Les Mis, The Nance, Little Shop of Horrors, Rent, Company, Sweeney Todd… so many to choose from!

  16. My favorite show is probably Crazy for You! And my favorite dinner is a toss up between Does and Bordinos.

  17. The best meal I’ve had was at a restaurant in Bella Vista that unfortunately went out of business. I had the best coconut shrimp that I’ve ever tasted.

  19. My favorite show is Rent. I even have the broadway recording of it with cast members I saw perform!

  20. I love the movie “The Wizard of Oz” so while I was in New York City many moons ago, I went and saw “The Wiz”. I loved it. I love musicals and really love George Gershwin’s songs. Would take 3 lovely ladies with me to enjoy this evening if I am picked. THANKS!

  21. Hairspray was my favorite but i haven’t seen very many shows. The live theater atmosphere is so fun though.

  22. Mary Poppins has been my all time favorite show that I’ve seen at Walton Arts Center, or anywhere else. I was really hoping to go to Nice Work If You Can Get It, but with a baby arriving in just a few months not really in the budget!

  23. I loved seeing “White Christmas” at the WAC last year! Such a perfect way to spend a date night kicking off the holiday season. As usual, we started our night at Bordinos. The first place we ever went on a date in Fayetteville!

  24. I absolutely love going to theatre, so it’s hard to pull out one show as my favorite, however, it was a special thrill to be called up on stage at the end of the last run of Hair that was at the Walton Arts Center not too long ago. A lot of folks sitting in the front got to get up on stage and dance with the performers. That’s not something you get to do every time and it gives you a different point of view and completely different theatre experience!

  25. Also, I forgot to say that Hair was the very first performance I ever saw at the tender age of 16, so that show does have some extra significance for me.

  26. The best show I ever saw was Fiddler on the Roof at the ACO. Larry Shank was fantastic. My favorite meal in a restaurant? That’s hard. I’ll go with steak at Herman’s!

  27. Hi
I had the opportunity several years ago to go to New York and see “Ragtime” on Broadway. I love musicals. Watch them anytime I get the chance. I am turning 60 on October 15th. My husband said last night when we saw the advertisement on television,”That looks like a fun show”. This would be a great birthday present
Thank you so much for the opportunity.

  28. U have seen so many great Broadway shows that it is hard to pick just one. So, the two that stand out the most are Phantom of the Opera, see at the Majestic Theater in NYC, and Hair, also seen on Broadway at the Saint James Theater…across the street from the Majestic!! My Broadway moments though, happened in Fayetteville at the Walton Arts Center, when seeing The traveling version of Hair, the character, Wolf, danced over me…literally, as he was standing on my arm rests!! The other moments were both at Hair in NYC and in Fayetteville, dancing on stage with the cast singing Let the Sun Shine!!!!! Unforgettable!!!!!!! I would love to win and get to see Nice Work if You can Get It!!

  29. Best meal was at 28 Springs. Love everything there especially the Cuban fried steak.

  30. I have never been able to see a real Broadway show. My Mom and Dad did take me to the Circle Star Theater in CA. to see the Sound Of Music. I still remember that.
Husband took me to Autumn breeze in Eureka Springs and it was fantastic

  31. I love the theater, but don’t get to go nearly as often as I’d like. Saw Phantom of the Opera in Nashville. Awesome!

  32. It’s been a while since it was here, but I really loved Movin’Out, the Billy Joel Musical. It was fantastic! I would love to see this musical!

  33. I would be honored to snag a date night with my hubby. We are parents, adoptive parents, foster parents, and all around crazies HAH who seldomly get the chance to sneak away for a date night.

As for favorite theatre experience, I have to say HairSpray was amazing when it performed at the WAC a couple years ago.

  34. My daughter and I went to see “Wicked” last year and it was amazing!!! She loves theater and has taught me to love it too!!!

  35. Million Dollar Quartet is the best show I’ve seen. Would love to see this one.

  36. The best musical I’ve seen is “How to Succeed in Business without even Trying”. It was so funny! Our favorite meals have to be at McGuires Irish Pub in FL – great shepherd’s pie!

  37. I absolutely love Blue Man Group! It has been one of my favorite shows so far!

  38. I loved Les Mis and Cats. Both are fantastic. I’ve seen both several times. And the best restaurant experiences I have had in Fayetteville have been at Bordino’s! They have great gluten free food.

  39. Our best dining experience was in Lisbon Portugal where it was a dinner theater on the top of the hill overlooking the city and we had an intimate showing of two musicians playing the lovely exotic faddo music.

  40. My favorite theater performance was when.I was 11 or 12. My parents took my brother and I to Harrison to watch the comedy version of princess and the pea.

  41. I have never been to a live theatre production that I did not like. I was lucky to attend a High School that put on a Musical every year. As a member of the choir I got to participate and this was so important to my future appreciation of music. I taught Music in the public and private schools v=for many years. I am 67 years old and I still love seeing live presentations of the great musicals and dramas. I now take my grandchildren. Thank you for promoting events like this one.

  42. A couple of years before my husband died, he took me to The Rat Pack for our anniversary. That was fabulous! I love the Walton Arts Center.

  43. Lion King was probably my favorite because of the amazing set and costumes followed closely by Phantom of the Opera which is my favorite musically

  44. I loved Rent, Beauty and the Beast, Phantom of the Opera but my favorite was when I was a little girl and I went to a dinner theater to see Annie…. I remember it so we’ll even though I was eight.

Best restaurants/ food was Lobster Bisque at La Dolce Vita, Chocolate Soufle at the four seasons in Nevis and of course the Chocolate Crem Brûlée at our very own Bonefish Grill. Here’s a tip about the Crem brûlée , they only carry it seasonally but if you ask for it they will make it.

  45. We loved Wicked in NYC, but my husband proposed before Beauty and the Beast, so it holds a special place in my heart!

  46. I also commented on your Facebook page and follow you on twitter and Pinterest.

  47. My wife and I used to love going to see Broadway shows at the WAC. Our favorite was Grease because we could sing along.

  48. My two favorite broadway shows are polar opposites of each other, but i loved Beauty and the Beast as it’s a childhood favorite and I’ve seen Rock of Ages twice because who doesn’t like to sing along and pump your fist in the theatre!

  49. Bordinos is our fav restaurant! And we always enjoy a theater show! Both in 1 night would be so fun!

  50. I haven’t seen many shows, the Rockets many years ago, would love a date night!

  51. I Love Lucy at the Walton art center last spring was one of my recent favorites. I’m also always always for seeing the nutcracker at Christmas! 🙂
