Giveaway: Tickets to see Home Free

Happy giveaway Monday, mamas!

Who’s ready for a double date night or Girls’ Night out? Ok, you got it!

WAC_HomeFreeWe’ve got FOUR tickets to see the country music a cappella group Home Free Vocal Band at Walton Arts Center on December 15, 2015 at 7 p.m. plus a gift certificate toward dinner at U.S. Pizza (delish!)

ABOUT THE SHOW: Five guys. Five microphones. No instruments. Hailing from Minnesota, the Home Free Vocal Band claims the title of the world’s first country music a cappella group.

The band won the fourth season of NBC’s “The Sing-Off ” in December 2013 with an arrangement of Hunter Hayes’ “I Want Crazy.” The win on national television catapulted the group to stardom, earning them $100,000 and a Sony record contract.

With the harmonic sound of a traditional barbershop quartet, Home Free consists of five formally trained vocalists who started the group in 2000 while some of the members were still teenagers.

Home Free entertains audiences with their high-energy show peppered with quick-witted humor that meshes Nashville standards with pop hits dipped in country flavor.

You have to watch their country-fied version of Andy Grammer’s “Honey, I’m Good”. Hilarious! Watch:

  5. My husband and I havent had REAL date night in over a year. Our times we do get to be alone is usually if we go to the grocery store and even that is hit and miss. We both have grown to love Home Free’s music, and both been wanting to go to this concert. We have been married almost 20 years and our life has been devoted to our 3 beautiful children. They all love to spend time with mom and dad…but we would love just some US time.

  6. Love this group. Go listen to HomeFree sing Ring of Fire!! It’s amazing!!@

  7. My husband and I need a date night, like yesterday!! He’s been in grad school for the last 2 1/2 years and is set to graduate this month! With 3 kids all having different activities, this would be a nice break from reality

  8. I love these guys! Between 5 kids (2 of which have birthdays this month, a sassy 3 yr old and nonstop 17 month) basketball season, clubs, lessons, and taking on a new position at work, the hubs and I could use a double date.
Oh, and I follow you guys on all 3 social medias. I love you guys!@

  9. I have not gone out for a loooong time. Between my job and church service, I hardly have time for myself. Also, I never win anything so it would be awesome if I win 🙂

  10. I would love to win these tickets not for me but for my bestie who just recently went through a divorce. She has been really bummed and I know this would cheer her up. I love their voices. Fun.

  11. Saw this group last year! Love them! I would love to take a friend to see them!

  12. My husband fell through our deck eight weeks ago and broke his leg in three places, and had surgery to rebuild his tibial plateau! He has been unable to bear weight on that leg, so he has been unable to work, and will not be able to go back for several more weeks, after therapy. This means we are living on one income…mine, and I am retired!!! I also have been his legs, his driver, the cook, the cleaner and the Christmas decorator. We sooo need a date night!!!

  13. Watched them on “The Sing Off”! They were my favorites. Would take my adult daughter, my son and his wife for a great night before the holiday craziness start full swing!

  14. This is the night before my birthday and I’m really hoping to be able to get a break from a really stressful time lately to celebrate my birthday. Home Free is one of my absolute favorite groups!

  16. I could use a GNO or date night because my husband works nights and that gets exhausting with 3 kids!

  17. It is always so hard to find the time for a date night, but who doesn’t need one? Raising kids makes time alone as a couple second in line. My husband and I are way overdue for an evening out together, and this group sounds like they will put on a great performance. Pick us!!

  18. Would love this opportunity to hang out with my 15 year old daughter without the men/boys in the family (brothers areally 2 ans 12). My daughter LOVE a Cappella and what better way to hang out than to watch this group perform. My daughter is a sweet girl who is completely humble and always very thoughtful. Thanks for the chance

  19. busy mom of 4….. this would be a great Christmas present for me and my husband for a break.

  20. We need a night of good laughs. The Holidays are stressful. We have a 13 year old and 11 year old twins…you would think we are busy enough, but a night laughing would be excellent!

  21. Would love to have a night out with friends and my husband. Don’t get many chances to watch live music and dinner with 3 babes at home 😉
    Thanks!!

  22. I think I would actually take my son with me- he loves music and would be ecstatic about this!

  23. With 3 kids I am so ready for night out on the town. What great combination Walton Arts Center and US Pizza.

  24. Would enjoy the chance to be with people who don’t smell like peanut butter and jelly. Although I love them dearly, it would be nice to have a night out. This would make one happy mama!!

  25. Would love to win these tickets and have a night out. I know my mom would enjoy an evening with just us “Girls”.

  26. What an amazing opportunity to have a night out/off
Our schedules are SOOO BUSY and we haven’t had a chance to spend time together. 4 amazing kids. Two amazing fulltime jobs. Just moved to new home living out of boxes.
    Thank you!!

  27. My husband and I haven’t been on a date in several months so this would be the perfect chance because we love Home Free!!

  28. My husband and I have different schedules so we are often passing ships. Lately I have been traveling w/work and haven’t been home. We need this!

  29. My husband loves, loves, loves a capella and I would love to take him to this concert!

  30. My daughter Cheryl passed away on 9-13-15, and since that time, her husband and my granddaughter have been staying with us to try to help each other through the grieving process. December 8th would have been their 14th anniversary. We would not ordinarily spend the money for events, but I would love to be chosen for the tickets and surprise them with a night out. One of Cheryl’s favorite places was on Dickson Street, where she always carried a camera and took pictures of local bands.
