Giveaway: Tickets to WAC show Home Free + U.S. Pizza!

Happy giveaway Monday, mamas!

Who’s ready for a double date night or Girls’ Night out? Ok, you got it!

Home_Free_TNEWWe’ve got FOUR tickets to see the country music a cappella group Home Free Vocal Band at Walton Arts Center on Oct. 9 plus a gift certificate toward dinner at U.S. Pizza (delish!)

ABOUT THE SHOW: Five guys. Five microphones. No instruments. Hailing from Minnesota, the Home Free Vocal Band claims the title of the world’s first country music a cappella group.

The band won the fourth season of NBC’s “The Sing-Off ” in December 2013 with an arrangement of Hunter Hayes’ “I Want Crazy.” The win on national television catapulted the group to stardom, earning them $100,000 and a Sony record contract.

With the harmonic sound of a traditional barbershop quartet, Home Free consists of five formally trained vocalists who started the group in 2000 while some of the members were still teenagers.

Home Free entertains audiences with their high-energy show peppered with quick-witted humor that meshes Nashville standards with pop hits dipped in country flavor.

You have to watch their country-fied version of Meghan Trainor’s “All About the Bass”. Hilarious! Watch:

ABOUT THE FOOD: We love U.S. Pizza! It’s right on Dickson Street — just down the street from Walton Arts Center — USpizzaand they have parking just outside the doors. Of course, the pizzas/salads/sandwiches are amazing.

U.S. Pizza is seriously a Fayetteville legend.

  23. Date Night?! My hubby & I don’t even know what that is! Ha! With 5 active kiddos ranging from 17yrs down to 4yrs and owning our own business….we hardly ever have any “US” time. A night out would be FANTABULOUS! Good pizza & a fun show…holding hands and actually getting to have a conversation would be AWESOME for this momma & daddy

  24. We just don’t date, too many, too complicated details. This might bring back hope!?

  25. I soooo need a night out! Things just keep coming one after another lately and it would be nice to get away for a while.

  26. Omgoodness!! I would love a good girls night out!! It’s been too long! Need something fun to de-stress!! Thanks!!

  28. We need a date night so bad! We have 4 kids (8, 5, 2, and 6 weeks)! Needless to say we don’t get out very often. We also homeschool. This would be such a wonderful night out. 🙂

  29. We need this date night because I just accepted a new job and I’m 24 weeks pregnant. Plus, my husband is unhappy in his job. Besides the stress we have both been under, we work different shifts and don’t get as much quality time together as we’d like. We have a 4 year old and are anticipating less time w/the new baby coming. We need to spend some time remembering the love we have and having some adult time!

  30. Hi. My husband and I would love this so much. We have 3 kids aged 7, 4, and 2. He is overloaded at work and I just started my new business. Running a house, raising 3 kids, and running my business has left us with no time for each other. We are like two ships in the night. We would love a night out with just the two of us. We miss each other! Thank you.

  31. Just because I love my hubby, but we could use some time just for the two of us.

  32. because although I’m not really, I’m always telling my kids that I’m “old and feeble”!

  33. I so need to win! That is my hubby’s birthday and with me working three jobs and volunteering and him working a job out of town, we rarely get time together, and now that we found out a close family member has cancer we are both very stressed! A night out with our best friends would be the best birthday gift I could give him!

  34. Terrible 2’s X 2! My twins are 2 and the poor husband stays home with them every day while I work and go to school. Also have 2 older.children (all girls). He is such a loving daddy to them but I know he would love a night out just as much as I would. We both could use a nice date night!

  35. Oct 9th is my husbands birthday so what a better way to celebrate!!!!!!

  36. This sounds like so much fun. Would love a night out with just my husband and some friends. I feel like all I do is taxi around children. LOL.

  37. This would be a fun event. I have always enjoyed the shows at Walton Art Center.

  38. My husband and I desperately need a date night. I feel like a chauffeur and cook and he has become the yard guy and butler. How can our 2 kids take so much non – quality time?

  40. My hubby is an elementary teacher as well as a high school fall sports coach, we don’t get much time away together and a good date night is certainly in order!

  41. I haven’t had a vacation for over a year. Used my vaca time taking care of sick kids and parents. Plus my kids are going through the terrible teens. 🙂

  42. My husband and I haven’t had a night out in a looooong time. Life is crazy busy planning the Veteran’s Day Parade in the NWA area and volunteer teaching as well as church stuff and being a mom of four bitties. Although volunteerism is fulfilling, it is also draining, and a night out would be just the ticket. Thanks for your wonderful newsletter.
    Blessings!!
