Giveaway: May Flowers from Bradford Nursery!

Note from the mamas: Congratulations to Leann Rogers, Brittney Gulley and Laura Boysen, all winners of beautiful flowers from Bradford’s Nursery!

Last week, also known as the Great Monsoon of 2011, we did an “April Showers” giveaway that rained down gift cards from three of our favorite places to shop for baby shower gifts: Two Chic, B Larue and The Baby’s Room. (Congratulations to the winners: Amber, Sara Little and Jessica Alexander! Check your e-mail, ladies!) This week, all those showers have produced some amazing flowers, and three of our readers will get to take some home.

So, just in time for Mother’s Day, we give you the “May Flowers” giveaway, courtesy of Bradford Nursery in Rogers! Three mamas will win gift cards from Bradford to choose their favorite plants, flowers or gifts to take home.

One lucky mama will win a $100 gift card and two others will win $25 gift cards each!

We love taking a trip to the nursery to “ooooohhh” and “aaaaahhhh” over all the gorgeous blooms bursting from the pots and baskets lining the greenhouse. And there are so many different types of plants to choose from — petunias, begonias, impatiens and so many more. It really is hard to choose just one. Bradford has all of your favorite plants, flowers, trees and shrubs — plus gifts, horticulturists on staff and landscape design. (Click here to visit Bradford’s website.)

Bradford Nursery owner Russell Ellis is a great guy to work with and has years of experience helping customers make good choices for their particular needs. He said a favorite recommendation right now is one of their huge fern hanging baskets that are just gorgeous. He also said you can’t go wrong with impatiens for shady areas. With the right care, they can last all the way into the fall season.

  24. My favorite flower is actually the blossom of the dogwood tree. My husband buys me plants for special occasions: he bought me a dwarf gala apple tree for my birthday and then a snow ball bush for mothers day and for our anniversary, he bought me a peppermint apple blossom tree which blooms these BEAUTIFUL 4-pettled blossoms in the spring. He learned real quick that cut flowers from a florist were not as special to me because they die. I want something that will last forever AND makes a memory.
