Christmas Cookie Recipes in time for Christmas Eve

Mamas, I’m always on the hunt for a website that specializes in recipes, and I ran across a great one recently. I was so impressed with the collection of cookie recipes that all revolve around the holidays, especially this one for Oreo truffles. I make Oreo truffle balls every year before Christmas, but mine have never turned out as cute as the ones made here by Christy Denney, who runs The Girl Who Ate Everything website. Look how adorable these are!

I’m definitely using this new recipe this week because these are off-the-charts cute. Here’s what you’ll need on hand to make these little melting snowmen:

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese softened
  • 36 OREO Cookies (regular size), finely crushed
  • 16 oz vanilla candy coating , melted (like Candiquick or almond bark)
  • 48 Mini OREO Bite Size Cookies
  • decorations: decorating icing or gel; multi-colored sprinkles

Once you have the supplies, click HERE to visit The Girl Who Ate Everything and print or bookmark the recipe. While you’re there, look around at the other Christmas cookie recipes. (I spotted at least 9 other holiday cookie recipes!)

And if you’re a fan of Nutter Butter cookies like I am, be sure to check out the recipe for Santa Claus cookies from that same website. You don’t even have to bake anything! Just decorate the Nutter Butters according to the instructions. They’re SO very cute, and they’d be fun to decorate with the kids’ help.

Hope you enjoy eating cookies this year as much as we will, mamas. Merry almost-Christmas Eve!
