Mamas’ Tip of the Day

It’s just about time to carve your jack-o-lanterns, so we wanted to share this tip we spotted in a recent issue of Family Circle magazine. After you’ve carved your pumpkin, smear the carved edges as well as the inside of the pumpkin with Vaseline. It will help seal in the moisture so it doesn’t dry out and cave in before Halloween. Also, I can’t wait to try the ghost pumpkins featured in the above photo. Hollow the pumpkin out from the bottom. Then paint the pumpkin and stem with white acrylic paint.
