However, I'd like to encourage Mamas, as I do all my clients, to put THEIR name on the collar or tags, not the dogs. That way, no one can steal your pet and call them by name. My dogs' tags say "Help! Call my Mom. D. Holmes" plus my number. Notice that I also use my first intitial instead of full name and no address. There is no reason for strangers to know that I am a woman or where I live. This is the perfect collar for escape artists or dogs that loose their tags. Anyway, because of this, we only use collars with metal buckles now. I found a metal engraved name tag that slides on to the collar, so it can't fall off. They are great and look nice, too.
