Great Date Giveaway: Tickets to see “Catch Me If You Can” at Walton Arts Center

Right now we’re all caught up in the holiday hustle, but in a few weeks — when you’re done working overtime to make sure the holidays are great for your family — you’re going to be ready for a night out for some much needed “me time.” We’ve cooked up the perfect remedy for that — two tickets to opening night of “Catch Me If You Can” at the Walton Arts Center plus a gift card to use for dinner at Mojito’s in Fayetteville.

ABOUT THE SHOW: These tickets are for the performance on January 8, 2013 at 7 p.m. The musical is based on the hit movie that starred Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks and it’s inspired by a true story. Frank Abagnale, Jr. was a teenager who catch me2ran away from home in search of a more glamorous life. Using his charm, imagination and millions of dollars in forged checks, Frank posed as a pilot, doctor and a lawyer. When his lies caught the attention of FBI agent Carl Hanratty, he is on the run as Carl chases him to the end.

If you have a husband who’s not a huge fan of the theater and you’re trying to change his mind, this is the show that will do it. This movie was popular with guys and the stage show is as well. It’s a cat and mouse adventure that will keep you engaged and entertained as the story unfolds.

ABOUT THE FOOD: This giveaway package includes a dinner gift card to Mojitos mojitosMexican Grill on Joyce Boulevard in Fayetteville. Mojitos is, of course, famous for the drink for which they are named and also for the amazing food. (Did you know they have TEN different Mojito flavors to choose from? Yum.) The Mojitos menu also includes favorites like guacamole made fresh at your table, the famous (and enormous) Razorback burrito and their signature dessert — flaming strawberries.

“catch up with” — laundry, sleep, paying bills, housework, email, Facebook news feed, sending Christmas cards, etc.” Laundry and bills and housework roll around with regularity…..just learn to manage them. Christmas cards???? I did not know people still send those! :-)

We are always trying to catch up on laundry, dishes, picking up toys, and all the other general cleaning duties in addition to oh so precious sleeeeep! I also find myself always trying to “catch up” on the daily news, bills, reading (I have to sneak that one in on work breaks!), and just making the time to play with the kids and talk to my husband for a few moments each day. If I could buy stock in more time I would!

  25. As a working mom with two young boys and a husband that travels alot for work, I always feel like I am playing catch up! :) Most of my “catch up” falls into 2 categories… 1) housework and 2)friendships. It’s hard to focus on either of those when you are running around like a crazy person! So this would be a great night out to catch up with a girlfriend!

  26. Stephanie Mosley says:

    Sleep

  27. For the past couple of years, I’m just behind at everything in life!

  28. Being a teacher, I ALWAYS feel like I need to catch up on things. I get behind in grading, so then I focus on that and find that I need to catch up on laundry. I catch up on laundry, and then I am behind on the dishes. Really, the things that I seem to miss out on in my busy lifestyle are exercise and cleaning time.

  29. Carla Phillips says:

What am I NOT trying to catch-up with! Work, housework, laundry, family time, Pinterest, sleep! You name it!!

  30. I need to catch up on my photo editing during this crazy holiday rush! It will be a mad dash right up to New Year’s Day, in fact. Best of luck to everyone who is feeling a little behind. :)

  31. Eleasha Clark says:

I am always catching up on couple time. Between work and friends and my puppy i have to make it a point to catch up with my husband and have some time to enrich our marriage! I do so like us time.

  32. I am constantly playing catch up to my twin boys. My husband and I were just talking that we just can’t be too far away from them before destruction hits. For example, these sweet precious angels of endless energy wrote on a wall with a permanent marker, broke a glass and “went fishing” in the bathroom sink all in the time it was taking me to remove my contact lenses last night. From the minute they wake me up at the time when the rooster crows saying, “momma up! momma up!” until they wear themselves out at night it is a constant marathon. I wouldn’t change it for anything but just realize if the laundry isn’t caught up, the house isn’t picked up all the time it isn’t because we’re just sittin still – quite the opposite – I’m just trying to keep up. I also homeschool my 8 year old which makes the keeping up at times a bit more challenging. We are a busy household like many others, we enjoy our family and the daily marathon of life but a date night with the main man of my life sounds pretty blissful….

  33. Since I work full time, I always feel behind on laundry! Since I go through so many outfits (work clothes, after work clothes, pajamas, workout clothes, – something else I’m behind on!, crafting clothes…etc!) just myself, I always feel behind!

  34. Sonya Kirsch says:

We’re always trying to catch up with and conquer Mount Washmore at our house. Laundry never ends!

  35. ALWAYS trying to catch up on sleep!! But looking forward to catching up on family time during Christmas vacation days to spend time with my husband and our 2 year old and all the family we having coming into town!!

  36. I am always trying to catch up on emails!

  37. Always laundry! And the Walmart list!

  38. Nathanuil D says:

My wife is wonderful and I want to take her out to this showing for a break. It seems we never get caught up on cleaning, but that’s okay because it’s more important that we get to spend time together. This would be a great way for me to show her how much I appreciate her.

  39. I’m always trying to catch up on the FOLDING part of doing the laundry . . . I don’t procrastinate the washing or the drying, but then I end up with a giant “Mt. Washmore” of clean, unfolded laundry that I eventually draft the kids into doing for me!

  40. Shannon Bay says:

I’m always trying to catch up on ALL of the above; laundry, grocery shopping, bill paying, cleaning house, etc. It seems as a single mom, working full time, there is never enough time in the day. If I get one thing caught up like the laundry, it’s because I’ve let other things fall behind.
A few years ago I read on a single mom’s blog that you had to let some things go, or you ll spend all your time trying to keep up with things instead of being with your children. I remind myself of that all the time. So the little things like sprinkles and icing on the floor might have to wait a few days.

  41. I’m always trying to catch up with my boys….housework…..sleep…..work…never enough hours in the day :)

  42. Im always trying to catch up to my son! And when I do catch up with him, what does HE teach ME…? He teaches me that I need to slow down. Enjoy the small things right?

  43. Barbara DeMarais says:

Life! Life is what I’m trying to catch up on. That includes EVERYthing, since I don’t feel that I’m caught up on ANYthing! Ohhh, to be caught up on SOMEthing………….

  44. Right now, I am trying to get caught up with buying and wrapping Christmas presents.

  45. I need desperately to catch up on sleep! With a mom of two living with MS, it is difficult to ever wake refreshed and rested! But I wouldn’t trade a moment of my time with my girls…priceless.

  46. Always trying to catch up with projects in my craft studio!

  47. I’m always trying to catch up on housework and sleep!!

  48. Does this question imply that there is some area in my life that I AM caught up on??!!! ;)
At this very moment I am avoiding laundry, cleaning up food that has been smeared from one side of the kitchen to another, exercising, and laundry.

  49. Always trying to catch up on paperwork!

  50. I am so far behind that I am not even sure when or where the catching up is supposed to start!

  51. Leigh Thompson says:

I must say that laundry is an ongoing duty…virtually impossible to “catch up!” So my answer is definitely laundry!

  52. Blogging and laundry!

  53. my closet! there are times (like now) that I can barely walk through it.

  54. Rosemary Rincon says:

At the moment, I am trying to catch up on Christmas cards, I’m always trying to catch up on laundry though!!

  55. I am always to catch up with my reading – there are too many good books out there!

  56. Rachel Walters says:

I am always behind on dishes and laundry!!! I use Sunday as my day to get all my laundry and house work done and it’s messed up by the next Sunday again!

  57. Stacy Schmidt says:

I feel as if I am always catching up on laundry. I am almost willing to have everyone walk around in the undies one day just so I can have everything clean.

  58. I feel as though I’m always trying to play catch up with the dishes. I think I run my dishwasher twice a day. Sometimes we eat out just so I won’t have to mess with the darn dishes!

  59. I’m a school teacher, and we have four kiddos who are active involved in lots…I’m trying to catch up on life! Bills, laundry, housework…it’s all inclusive. :)

  60. Like most of the posters, I’d say laundry. Next would be dishes. Ugh. A night out would make me forget that. :)

  61. LAUNDRY is forever my nemesis! I can’t ever seem to catch up on the folding and putting away. With busy boys who love the outdoors, it always seems to pile up. :)

  62. Sleep, sleep, and sleep, along with everything else :)
