Easter Bunny at the NWA Mall

The Easter Bunny will be at the Northwest Arkansas Mall April 1 – April 15 from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from Noon – 6 p.m. on Sundays (2nd & 9th). This super-cute bunny will be available for pictures with the kids. 

Dates: April 1-15th

Imagine Studios Easter Egg Paint & Hunt

Imagine Studios is hosting a special Easter Egg event: your child(ren) will get to paint a ceramic bunny and Easter eggs, and join in an Easter egg hunt when they are done! Make sure to bring your Easter baskets! Registration for this event is required, and at least one parent must stay for the duration of the event.

Bunny Breakfast for Arkansas Children’s Hospital

Head to Applebee’s in Fayetteville for a pancake breakfast benefitting Arkansas Children’s Hospital. The Easter bunny will be there for photos too! Entrance is $5 per person, with all proceeds going to benefit the NWA location of ACH.

pastel eggsEaster Egg Hunt at Bunch Park in Elkins

This hunt is sponsored by Round Mountain Community Church in Fayetteville, held at Bunch Park in Elkins on April 8th at 10 am. If this date is rained out, the egg hunt will be April 15th. Ages are 0 years – 5th grade. There will be prizes for all age groups. Free food and inflatables.

Farmington Area Kiwanis Eggstravaganza

Head to Williams School in Farmington for a huge egg hunt with candy-stuffed Easter eggs, divided into three age groups. The hunt will also feature games, “selfies” with the Easter Bunny, hot dogs, and more.

Time: 12:30 to 3 pm; egg hunts start at 1:15pm

Special Egg Event 2017

Hope Church of Northwest Arkansas has one of the most unique egg hunts in the region, one especially for children with special needs. This includes:

  • A Quiet Egg Hunt for children on the Autism Spectrum or children with Sensory Processing issues who need a quieter environment. 
  • A Talking Egg Hunt for children who are blind or visually impaired. Slightly larger “talking” eggs are placed on the field. Once found beeping eggs are traded for prize filled Easter eggs.
  • A Magnetic Egg Hunt for children with wheelchairs or mobility restrictions. Magnetic eggs are placed on a hard surface area (parking lot) and poles with magnets on them, allow children to collect eggs. Magnetic eggs are then traded in for prize filled eggs.
  • A General Egg Hunt for children with other disabilities and siblings of children involved in the other hunts. This egg hunt will cover a large field and happen in two waves broken up by age.

American Legion Post 100 Egg Hunt

A reader let us know about this egg hunt, being thrown by Rogers’ American Legion Post 100. They will have four age groups (3 and under, 4-6, 7-9, and 10+), and each hunt will have 750 eggs to find. They will also provide light refreshments, Easter crafts, and door prizes! This event is free and open to the public.

Easter Eggstravaganza at Gulley Park

The Fayetteville First Church of the Nazarene is hosting a huge egg hunt at Gulley Park! They will have over 4,000 eggs to find, They will have games and activities, door prizes, and a free hot dog lunch.

Fayetteville Boys & Girls Club Easter Egg Hunt

Join the Boys & Girls Club for their annual “Easter at the Club” event, which will include an Easter egg hunt with over 16,000 eggs, face-painting, games, door prizes, and a fire truck and a safety trailer for kids to explore! The egg hunt is open to ages 2 through 11, with four age divisions. This event is free and open to the public.

Bella Vista Egg Hunt and Bicycle Safety Check

The Bella Vista POA and GPP Cycling are throwing a cycling-themed Easter party. Children 12 and under can have their photo taken with the Easter Bunny, join in the egg hunt, have their bicycle safety checked, and try out the new bike skills park at Metfield Park. The Easter egg hunt will have four age groups in four separate areas of the park. Each division will have a golden egg hidden that can be turned in for a cool prize.

Community Egg Hunts by First Baptist Church

First Baptist Church of Fayetteville will be hosting free community Easter egg hunts at Southmont Apartments, Rodney Ryan Park, Root Elementary Playground and Salem Park (all in Fayetteville).

City of Fayetteville Easter Egg Hunt

The City of Fayetteville’s annual Easter egg hunt will be held at the Yvonne Richardson Community Center on Saturday, April 15. Come for the eggs, free lunch, games, even a raffle! You can even preregister to skip the line.

Family Easter Eggstravaganza at New Hope Fellowship

There’s something for everyone at this Easter party: a petting zoo, Easter egg decorating, a bounce house, a kids’ train, games, popcorn, snow cones, and cotton candy! Oh, and the most important part—the egg hunts! Kids from 1 year to first grade have their own egg hunt, with a separate glow-in-the-dark egg hunt for kids 2nd through 5th grades. This community event is free, and no registration is required.

Easter at Orchards Park

The Bentonville Parks & Recreation department is throwing a huge Easter event on Saturday, April 15! They will have inflatables for the kids, food vendors, and over 40,000 eggs! They will have 4 different egg hunts: one just for our special needs kiddos, and three age groups for kids 12 and under.

First Church of Springdale is having a Wonderfully Made Easter Egg Hunt for children of all ages and abilities. They will have:

War Eagle Mill Easter Celebration

War Eagle Mill is hosting an all day Easter celebration. They’ll kick things off with a visit from the Easter bunny, crafts for the kids, and delicious ham lunch specials at the Bean Palace Cafe. The Easter egg hunts will start at 2pm. They will have three age groups for the hunt: 0-3, 4-6, and 7-9.

VFW Easter Celebration

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Rogers is throwing a big Easter bash on Easter Sunday. They’re hosting an egg hunt for the kids (the Easter bunny might even make an appearance!), a hot dog lunch, games, and special treats. This free community event will be a fun way for your whole family to spend Easter afternoon.

Easter Classes from Bentonville Baking Company

bentonville baking companyBentonville Baking Company is hosting two extra special classes to celebrate Easter! You and your child can learn to decorate Easter egg cookies with royal icing, and take home a dozen cookies for your family to enjoy. Or, if baking is more your speed, you and your child can attend an Easy Artisan Bread Making class together to learn how to make versatile, crusty, easy loaves of homemade bread (class includes all ingredients, and you will take home a dough whisk, a dough storage bucket, and enough dough for three loaves of bread). These classes will fill up quickly, so be sure to register early!
